it doesn't matter if a QB has a million TD's. At some point, it's time to move on and not stop progress.

and some of you want to get rid of him for a rookie who yet to throw one? I know you're done with the Dak threads, but I am ecstatic about the future. I believe Dak will be the future for this franchise. However, there's a reason why we can't run the ball, and it's because the threat of the long pass with Romo isn't there. When Romo gets back, our offense and our running game is going to be special. Romo is the better quarterback right now if he's upright. If he's not healthy, we roll with Dak and i'm fine with that. I don't even care if Dak wins us 3 more games. I am for making this team better. This team is better with Tony Romo as the quarterback. Plus, it will give Dak an opportunity to see and study Romo, learn from Romo's successes and failures. The book on number 9 isn't over yet, and we shouldn't rush to judgement, either. We have a chance to contend for a championship with Romo, not with Dak. In a couple of years, yes. Now is simply not his time.

I'm going to look at it this way, if Romo can come back healthy the team is better, if not then we roll with Dak and watch him developed into the next franchise QB ... win, win.

The fact that this is even a NATIONAL topic speaks volume to what Dak has done both statistically and from "the eye test." Who ever thought we'd have a split crowd in regards to who plays QB for us in training camp? I love Tony and he may still give us the best chance to win however 1. We must wait and see where we are as a team and where Dak is several weeks from now (the narrative changes every week). 2. The brutal harsh reality of the matter is has Romo's injury/post season history/penchant for turning the ball over GUARANTEED him a starting spot? I'm not saying it hasn't by all means but the tide keeps shifting as Romo stays off the field and Dak keeps impressing.
