One day Romo will be done and then the haters will have their day and can say "I told you so!"

No joke. It is getting tiresome.

There is no, and will not and maybe should not be a QB controversy when Romo returns.

This is an argument best shelved until next offseason.

I agree 100%. Romo should be given a chance to make it through as many games as possible after his latest injury. In fact I believe if he can throw the ball from a wheelchair he should remain our QB. His stats speak for themselves and we all know a healthy Romo is better than JC himself.;) On a lighter note there won't be a QB controversy when Romo gets back. Everything will take care of itself in due time and everything will fall in to place as it should. I honestly don't care if its a healthy Romo or Dak, I am a Cowboys fan first. I just want to see some consistency at the QB position. We haven't had that since 2014.

Did you just call me an idiot? Please tell me that you did.
I thought that was totally uncalled for. Don't understand why anyone would feel the need to do that.

I meant him calling you an idiot, not you sending him an internet threat.

Romo's last 4 NFL games, he was younger and healthier than he is NOW.

Romo last 4 games
QB Rating 79.4
Comp % 68.6
Y/G 221.0
Y/A 7.3
TD 5
INT 7
Fumbles 1

Dak first two games
QB Rating 83.1
Come % 62.7
Y/G 259.5
Y/A 6.9
TD 0
INT 0
Fumbles 0

Again, we have one QB with screaming upside potential and another with his arrow pointing straight down. We will revisit these stats again Sunday night.
That's such screwed stats. He had that one terrible game against the Panthers when he threw like 4 picks so it makes it look likes been playing terrible. Anyone who has watch Romo's most recent games knows he can still play at a high level. Nice try though

The problem I have with Romo is 4 picks and then having to worry about him being killed every game. Id much rather have Romo retire and use that money on the defense. I don't want to see Romo being carted off the field. There comes a point in time where you say ok enough is enough. Hes been knocked out of his last few games. Whats it going to take?

And some in HS, and some in pop warner......LOL.....you are funny....NOT
Seriously? You're the one who posted the nitpicky response about how he only has 247 TD passes in his career. I'm simply pointing out that that isn't true. Romo's career encompasses more than Cowboys regular-season games.

Touchdowns in Tony Romo's first season:

ZERO

Touchdowns in Tony Romo's second season:

ZERO

Touchdowns in Tony Romo's third season:

ZERO

Tony Romo was signed in 2003, did not throw his first pass until the 2006 season, his fourth. I love Tony, his story is inspirational, but let's not compare Dak to what Tony did several seasons into his career.

Yup, if anything people should very happy for Dak future out look. This guy is years ahead of Romo as a rookie. Within sever al years he could be top 5. elite. If I'm JJ you will have to seriously think about moving on from Romo. Especially in terms of cap savings.

and some of you want to get rid of him for a rookie who yet to throw one? I know you're done with the Dak threads, but I am ecstatic about the future. I believe Dak will be the future for this franchise. However, there's a reason why we can't run the ball, and it's because the threat of the long pass with Romo isn't there. When Romo gets back, our offense and our running game is going to be special. Romo is the better quarterback right now if he's upright. If he's not healthy, we roll with Dak and i'm fine with that. I don't even care if Dak wins us 3 more games. I am for making this team better. This team is better with Tony Romo as the quarterback. Plus, it will give Dak an opportunity to see and study Romo, learn from Romo's successes and failures. The book on number 9 isn't over yet, and we shouldn't rush to judgement, either. We have a chance to contend for a championship with Romo, not with Dak. In a couple of years, yes. Now is simply not his time.

Can someone please move this to the rant section?
