Or maybe, just maybe, stop trying to turn him into a pocket passer and let him play his game and tailor the offense to his playing style and not theirs? Just an option
What NFL team doesn't expect its QB to be able to function as a pocket passer? Sure, some factor a few more roll out's or QB run plays or RPOs into the game plan, but they all have to be able to function as a pocket passer as well. NFL teams can't gimmick their way to success. There still has to be some degree of just running a play and finding a receiver without it being on the move where a QB is moving away from the pass protection and can be exposed to big hits
