I have seen many comparisons here and on the radio.

Who do you think Romo will most closely emulate as an NFL QB?

So far he reminds me of Joey Harrington. Exactly.

But it's early. I hope he doesn't remain that way.

He has played 1 half of a game. He does not remind me of anyone at this time

Best case scenario: Brett Favre

Decent case scenario: Jake Plummer

Worst case scenario: Any number of guys who are no longer in the league.

For the time being, I'll say "Jake" and hope he can raise his game to "Brett."

I think he'll either be Jake Plummer, which would be bad, or Jake Delhomme, which would be good.

I'd agree. May not like the 49ers but as a football fan, Steve Young was a good QB.

Besides, Romo's coming into a very good situation (unlike say David Carr). He has TWO good RBs, TWO Pro-Bowl caliber WRs, and a Pro-Bowl caliber TE.

The OLine has looked good at times, has looked REALLY bad at times. But, I think part of the problem was how do you defend the blitz on every play? Guys are bound to miss blocks. If Romo can move a little, it could help the OLine...and the run game...and the passing game.

We'll just have to wait and see ey?

The way he moves around the pocket and the way he carries himself on the field, Favre. He's going to throw his fair share of interceptions, but I can't wait to see what he can do w/ a full week's practice w/ the 1st string to get the timing down.

His game reminded me of Brett Favre - He made some great plays, he was good at alluding pressure, and he made some boneheaded interceptions.

I know it was his first game, but the kid needs to calm down a little before the Panthers game.

Our OLine is nowhere NEAR as offensive as your avatar... :blech:
