Butter.

Not "Buttuh".

Brees and Bulger come to mind when I see Tony play. He has that quick release needed behind this oline. His throwing motion is a lot like Bulger's.

He would have to have an almost boring persona to be like Bulger.

Noticed it when Bulger played at WVU and have seen it in the few times I have caught a rams game.

Guy could throw a huge touchdown or the worst int in the world and you could not tell from his manner. Was like he had no emotions or was playing with the best poker face ever.

He might be different now but always found that odd watching him mostly at WVU.

Ive been saying for 2 years now he reminds me of Steve Young.

Funny that I put some thought into it, voted for other, and scrolled down to say he reminded me a bit of steve young. Then lo and behold, the first comment I come to is saying the same thing!!! Doomsday, you are right on target - I see more than a little of Steve Young in Tony Romo. I wonder if there are others who agree...?

This thread has been oficially hijacked. The thread will land shortly, as long as everyone remains in their seats and does exactly what we tell them. Now start singing the Oscar Meyer Bologna song OR ELSE.

I am too busy to sing the Oscar Meyer song because I am stuck on band-aids because band-aids are stuck on me. :p:

Now I think you are taking things a little too far. This is a family board after all. ;) :laugh2:

Did you know that many parts of a pine cone are edible? :geezer:

He isn't even on the same planet, but favre when he was young.

Just a slinger, which will bite him in the rear more often than not, but if he can continue to throw TDs he will be fine. When I see the windows he trys to fit the football in I cringe, but he made throws that made me say WOW the other night. The one to TO over the middle and I believe it was one to a closely gaurded jason Witten. The stike to Patrick Crayton was a thing of beauty, and the audible at the line to TO in the redzone was a vet move.

If Romo starts from here on out, I am willing to do a sig bet that TO scores at least 17 TDs.

So he reminds me of a very young, raw version of a gunslinging Brett Favre....more ints to follow, but it should be fun to watch.

Why does anyone not think Romo will turn out to be another Charlie Batch?

Choo Choo Charlie was an engineer ...
