He reminds me a lot of Delhome...hopefully TO can complement Romo as Steve Smith has Jake.

complement? Jake Delhomme is the Jake Delhomme everyone is enamored with because of Steve Smith. Otherwise, he's barely average. Steve Smith makes Jake Delhomme. I don't want Romo being a made QB. I liked the way he spread it around.

In success only I picked Jake Delhomme.

If he can negate his impulse throws he has the ability and smarts to run an NFL offense. His reads and passes were quick and accurate except in the case of the INt to Crayton. I think he was just too quick with his read in that throw. It was the impulse throws that killed him. The tip by Strahan was a pass that should never have been thrown because Fasano was covered like a blanket and had Strahan not tipped it it was likely the ball would be tipped up when it got to the TE anyway and there was a Giant waiting in the wings if that happened too.

To the four people who voted Tom Brady-I would like very much to get my hands on some of whatever it is you've been smoking, doubtless it will make the remainder of the season easier to bear. ;)

Jake Delhomme's best year was 2004...when Steve Smith broke his leg very early in game 1 and missed the entire year.

OK, Steve Smith and Muhshin Muhammed make him.

Or maybe he's just good. What do I know?

I thought his game reminded me alot of a Brett Farve type game. I like what I saw despite the 3 INTs. I think he will drive BP nuts though if his play continues in a Farve fashion.

Hey can anyone tell me

Where's the beef?

My point is that Smith makes Delhomme (I finally spelled his name right) more comfortable out there. Jake trusts that Steve will make a play on the ball. Hopefully, TO and Tony can get the same repoire built.

Yes and no. Delhomme had a very good season in 2004 and Smith only played 1 game that season. That season Jake put up the most TD's in his career with 29. Jake is a good QB with or without Smith. Smith no doubt would help any QB as do all great WR but Jake proved even without Smith he can do the job

It's fine. It was a stupid comment by me, as has been illustrated. For some reason, I just don't like Delhomme. He's like Bledsoe - yeah you're going to get TDs, but you're also going to average an INT per game, and a lost fumble quite often, and a bunch of sacks. I really hope that's not Romo.
