I am with you.

There are 2 things I am gettting real sick of hearing.

1. Blah Blah Blah it is 1 pre-season game.
2. And gimme a break he is nothing but a career backup based on his pedigree, playing Division II, and going undrafted.

First, Romo has had 8 previous Pre-Season games for many of us to watch.
Second who cares where he came from, I only care where he is going.

I have been high on Romo since last years Pre-Season, and he looked more polished last night.

I also have been watching Football all my life, and I do believe I know a good QB when I see one. I believe in Romo.

I will tell you what I know, I know about Romo.

The kid has great pocket presence.
He slides in the pocket very well.
His arm may not be a rocket but it is strong enough.
He has the ability to make a positive play out of a negative.
He is ACCURATE!
He has very nice touch on the ball.
He has the confidence and the attitude.

The thing he did not have down yet before was being decisive, and last night he was very decisive. I think this is exactly why Parcells thinks he is ready, or very close to being ready.

And my evaluation is not just based on last night. I know what I have been seeing for the last 3 years.

The only thing left IMO if he continuues to be decisive like last night is to see it in a regular season game.

I think ROMO has that it, the "it" a QB needs to succeed.

For you folks who dont see it, it sucks to be you right now, but Romo will make you come around before too much longer.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Masterful post!

:thankyou: :bravo: :hammer:

I have been a football fan forever. You can say this was only a pre-season game, but Tony Romo has what it takes to be an NFL QB. I bet you my house that The Tuna and JJ are beaming right now. Tony has good feet, good judgement, a quick release and a cocky, I can do it attitude, all the tools you need. He will be the future for Dallas for many years, barring injury. Do I think he will start the season, of course not, its Drew's job, but Tony will be there waiting and will take over soon. He has the Favre moxy and you can tell his teamates believe in him.

I have been talking about Tony for the last two years and have taken quite a forum beating. I will get the last laugh.

Im sure Bill wont hesitate to get him in there if Bledsoe struggles at any point in time this season.

Bill will ask Drew if he wants to come out...Drew will say no

now if we're blowing out a team, then it's another story

I think a lot of the Romo momentum has to do with the fact (suspicion?) that our o-line still sucks. Romo may be faster and more elusive than Bled, but that's hardly enough to award him the job.
