Of course Romo isn't a saint and neither are you. He's got his flaws...so do you...and we all want him to be better...hell, l I want YOU to be better,
I realize he's the quarterback of America's Team (and you're not) so he's the target. Nobody's starting a thread about you. He was raised by great parents and has the right prospective on life regardless of football. Is it bothersome what he said at the end of the season? Yes. Is his performance up to par in December? No. But I don't want anybody else quarterbacking my team right now, even with his flaws. He has gifts others don't have, I see things in him that are extraordinary yet he struggles late in the season, so the organization has the obligation to you and me to harness those gifts and maximize his potential, especially late in the season.
Try Tavaris Jackson on for size, he might be a saint.
We all know you're in love with TO and are trying to deflect, but sending it to Romo with the words "He's not saint" did nothing but get you a lot of hits...and at the end of the day, it's probably all you were looking for anyhow.
Why am I even entertaining this? o well.. Here goes.
Perhaps Troy was misguided in his opinion of Romo.

Perhaps Clarence Hill it totally off base with his take on the whole situation.

Perhaps Garrett was just meeting up with Romo to tell him just how wonderful of a job he believes he has been doing.

There's an old saying that has been played out on this board when referring to TO. "Where there's smoke there's fire".
Well, there's definitely smoke coming from Romo's locker. Can he correct it? Sure. Is he immune from continued criticism? I've got over 60 million reasons to say hell no he's not.
I have also made it clear on this board that I support all 53 including TO. I have also outlined TO's faults on this board. Yet the fact remains, having him on the field changes the way defensive coaches prepare for us and it should open up the other 80% of the field for Romo to pick & choose. Does Romo force the ball to TO quite possibly due to TO being just like any other star #1 primadonna WR who thinks he's open every time? Sure. Is Romo enough of a leader both in the locker room and in the huddle to embrace that and make it work for the good of the offense as a whole? No.
Say what you want to say but at the end of the day I am a Cowboys fan at heart and I will nitpick anything that pisses me off. I'm pretty sure that's what message boards like this are meant for. I'm not going to make everyone happy with my opinions but at the same time I am not going to denigrate those on this board with opposing views. (with the exception of dcfanatic whom I love to mess with)
Lastly, I thank you for recognizing me in some way by putting my name in your thread title. That means you cared enough to send your very best. What a great hallmark moment. I'm flattered and find it quite comical.
I'm not here to dog your boy Romo 24/7. That task can be left up to the mediots. I'm simply here to voice my opinion when I can. The rest is all gravy.
