When do people stop blaming one person for the failure of an entire team? There is no such thing as one person getting the job done on a football team and the team winning.

It takes absolutely everyone to get the job done and to win. Until this team learns to be a TEAM and to play like a TEAM this TEAM will go nowhere in a TEAM sport.

That's from the coaches to the players, to the assistants, to Jerry, to everyone.

Seriously, when does Garrett get any blame? When Brian Stewart was coaching this defense, most reports said Wade was hands off and didn't attend the defensive meetings. Now, everybody is blaming wade for the collpase of this offense. If Wade wasn't attending meetings around defense, then why would he interfere with Garrett and the offense? Garret was made Assitant Head Coach and paid the big bucks. How much game-planning do you think Wade had, when it came to the offense? Why would Wade interfere and step on the toes of the "Golden Boy"? Now, all of the sudden, he is to be blamed for Romo? Wasn't the last job Garrett in, that of a QB coach? Oh yeah, that's right. He coached at Miami, where they ahd a revolving door at QB..

See my sig. They both suck.

Folks, You're welcomed to ridicule, hiss, moan, *****, etc etc...

I appreciate your opposing opinions regardless of how much you hiss & moan in your rebuttals.

Nothing you've fed back indicates to me that the blame shouldn't be equally shared by Romo. I get it. Hopefully you aren't forced to as well. Hopefully Jerry truly isn't happy with the status quo and brings someone in to really mentor Romo because with each passing week Romo is proving he cannot make the steps of improvement alone.

What can Wade do when Jerry wont let him take 100% control??? Wade isn't immune from criticism but its hard to put most of it on the guy when clearly Jerry is the ringmaster of this circus.

Wade needs to stand up and coach the team regardless. I would sit a player if he is messing up regardless of what JJ said. So that means that I would be fired right? Well I would rather be fired because I was doing the right thing than to be fired because of losing.

Chalk this up as my token "told you so" thread...

Perhaps it takes real media snooping to unearth some of the information we would otherwise have no idea of. I'm not sure what it is but it's starting to come out. I won't seek to get the human Romo shield all riled up. I already did that by saying I told you so. Rather, I am interested in your opinions on the current state of affairs as it relates to the cohesion and leadership that should exist in the locker room, in the meeting rooms, and on the field.

Sadly, Romo has regressed under the alleged "leadership" of Wade Phillips. Wade runs a pansy camp and pays zero attention to detail. Wade holds no one accountable for their actions. Everyone on here always says where there's smoke there's fire. Right? Well, there's plenty of smoke coming from the direction of Wade Phillips and Tony Romo.

Romo clowns in meetings? Guys (incl TO) are late left & right to team meetings? Wade has created a real smorgasbord of **** at Valley Ranch. It may take a few years just to undo the damage inflicted once he is no longer commanding this team. Who do we have at the starting QB position? Is it the class clown? Sorry. I don't need the class clown for over 60 mil. Is it a leader? That is still yet to be determined. Romo, whether he chooses to embrace it or not, has got to step up to the plate and become a leader. I would truly like to see that happened but with each passing day my faith in that possibility diminishes. Who, at the coaching level and above, does he have to serve as a mentor for him? Absolutely no one.

I guess the media is good for some things. If anything, they can leverage the one sided campaign against one player simply by reporting the "rest of the story"...

I don't understand the title of this thread "Romo is no Saint." and then you deal primarity with what I would call immaturity (clowning around). "Clowning around might make you a loser on the field but it doesn't make you a devil. I thought from the title that he must be up to some bad things. He needs a coach to kick his behind and tell him that he is the QB and the leader by example and he is going to be accountable for his mistakes and if he doesn't improve he will ride the pine. If Jerry interfered which he would do then I would tell him "Jerry I appreciate you hiring me as a coach and I want to make you and me both look good and that won't happen until there is accountability from these players. That being said I have to coach my way. You have the power to fire me any day you desire and I understand that, but as long as I am coach I will be the coach. If you can't live with that pay me the balance of the contract and I will be gone in a split second."

Hey. You're absolutely right about Jerry. It's really sickening. How are we to get Shanahan if Jerry won't consider stepping back a bit. Hopefully if/when the times comes to potentially bring Shanahan aboard Jerry will consider just that.

Romo needs a real mentor... I think Shanahan would be an excellent step in the right direction.

Got my vote.

End this thread! Romo is no saint..._Please! He was raised by great parents and has the proper prospective of life and he will be the quarterback to either lead us to a Super Bowl or not but you are an absolute idiot for posting the lead for this thread...or maybe you just don't get it. I'm guessing that's it.

You got a lot of mileage out of it so you must feel good about yourself. Please...go root for Tavaris Jackson, I hear he's a saint.

Of course Romo isn't a saint and neither are you. He's got his flaws...so do you...and we all want him to be better...hell, l I want YOU to be better,

I realize he's the quarterback of America's Team (and you're not) so he's the target. Nobody's starting a thread about you. He was raised by great parents and has the right prospective on life regardless of football. Is it bothersome what he said at the end of the season? Yes. Is his performance up to par in December? No. But I don't want anybody else quarterbacking my team right now, even with his flaws. He has gifts others don't have, I see things in him that are extraordinary yet he struggles late in the season, so the organization has the obligation to you and me to harness those gifts and maximize his potential, especially late in the season.

Try Tavaris Jackson on for size, he might be a saint.

We all know you're in love with TO and are trying to deflect, but sending it to Romo with the words "He's not saint" did nothing but get you a lot of hits...and at the end of the day, it's probably all you were looking for anyhow.

If it weren't for horrible QB play, we'd all be in the SB and we wouldn't be divided. ;)
