No its more fun to bait them and antagonize them if you ask me. Its the scared mob mentality lashing out at anything they can get an excuse to.

Your post might carry more weight if it was not five minutes late every time. :laugh2:

Flacco > Romo?

I'll chalk that up to "I told you so"

;)

Flacco > Romo?

Note the form of a question which in no way, shape, or form represents anyone telling anyone else anything. ;) Thanks for your wonderful contribution though.

I choose not to engage in discussion about TO in this thread. Feel free to say whatever has been said over and over again. However, I will entertain discussion about Jerry, Wade, Red, and Romo. I find it difficult to believe that one man is powerful enough to take down four.

Alrighty then here goes. The problem is there is not a strong leader at the HC position. Simple as that. When Jerry fixes that the rest will fall in line, until then it will be team turmoil.

Romo is often criticized and rightfully so. He has raised legitimate doubts regarding his practice habits and the intensity with which he plays the game.

However, if the Cowboys are to make a Super Bowl run in the near future, he will be the most important component--the catalytic agent. He's more important than almost every other player on the team, including TO.

If we we're forced to choose between Romo's continued existence on the team and another player's continued existence on the team (such as TO), I'll opt for Romo every time.

This I wholeheartedly agree with. Some here think I see nothing but TO TO TO.... It's actually quite the contrary. I see Dallas Dallas Dallas. Of course, I consider TO to still be a large part of that equation but I would have zero qualms about letting him go if it meant we were to get a Shanahan in to reinvigorate this team. Let me say it once more for the hearing impaired... I would have no qualms whatsoever with getting rid of TO if it meant something more significant was happening at the HC position. That said, Can you imagine how Romo and TO would perform in the Rat's WCO? It has to be a nice thought for some of you... Then you add our stable of RBs (because you know Shanahan will know how to use them) and this offense would be clicking on all cylinders.

This is quite funny that you said what you said. Even though we are on opposite sides of the TO I issue my official stance is this and I have stated it before. I would be ok with keeping TO as long as it is a strong HC saying he wants TO and not something Jerry is pushing.

PS: I will not saying thing else about TO in this thread. Scout's promise.

I'll chime in here!

Yes! Wade needs to go, period! So does Andy Reid and Marriucie(sp).

(well, Marriucie is already gone).

But, definately, Wade needs to be gone like a burgler...so does someone else!

Chalk this up as my token "told you so" thread...

Perhaps it takes real media snooping to unearth some of the information we would otherwise have no idea of. I'm not sure what it is but it's starting to come out. I won't seek to get the human Romo shield all riled up. I already did that by saying I told you so. Rather, I am interested in your opinions on the current state of affairs as it relates to the cohesion and leadership that should exist in the locker room, in the meeting rooms, and on the field.

Sadly, Romo has regressed under the alleged "leadership" of Wade Phillips. Wade runs a pansy camp and pays zero attention to detail. Wade holds no one accountable for their actions. Everyone on here always says where there's smoke there's fire. Right? Well, there's plenty of smoke coming from the direction of Wade Phillips and Tony Romo.

Romo clowns in meetings? Guys (incl TO) are late left & right to team meetings? Wade has created a real smorgasbord of **** at Valley Ranch. It may take a few years just to undo the damage inflicted once he is no longer commanding this team. Who do we have at the starting QB position? Is it the class clown? Sorry. I don't need the class clown for over 60 mil. Is it a leader? That is still yet to be determined. Romo, whether he chooses to embrace it or not, has got to step up to the plate and become a leader. I would truly like to see that happened but with each passing day my faith in that possibility diminishes. Who, at the coaching level and above, does he have to serve as a mentor for him? Absolutely no one.

I guess the media is good for some things. If anything, they can leverage the one sided campaign against one player simply by reporting the "rest of the story"...

So you believe all the unnamed sources from Calvin Watkins who say that Romo is a problem.

But you didn't give any credit to the unnamed sources of Ed Werder.

It is funny seeing how some will use or make fun of these sources and or reporters depending on if it fits an agenda that supports or hurts the player they like or dislike.

Atlanta lawyer suing ‘Pacman’ Jones

By D.L. BENNETT
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Tuesday, January 20, 2009

First, Adam “Pacman” Jones got sacked by the Cowboys after a disappointing season.

Now, the out-of-work, often-in-trouble NFL cornerback is being sued by an Atlanta lawyer known for representing celebrity clients.

Manny Arora claims Jones stiffed him for fees “in excess of $10,000” on 18 different cases in which Arora represented either Jones’ family members or friends.

None of the cases mentioned in the lawsuit filed in Fulton State Court involve Jones directly.

The suit lists Deborah Jones, James Jones, Lewis Kueffor and Fleming Daniels as the defendants Arora assisted. The charges against them vary from speeding to kidnapping, simple battery and, in the case of Daniels, murder.

Arora has represented former Atlanta Thrasher Dany Heatley, former Fulton County Sheriff Jackie Barrett and former Georgia Tech football player Reuben Houston. He represents athletes as an agent and regularly appears on television and radio.

Jones has been arrested six times and has been involved in a dozen incidents requiring police intervention since the Tennessee Titans drafted him in the first round in 2005.

Jones was suspended in April 2007 and missed all of that season. He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys last April and reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in August.

The Cowboys began the season among the favorites to make the Super Bowl but failed to reach the playoffs. The club cut Jones after a season in which he missed several games while undergoing drug and alcohol treatment.

Neither Jones nor Arora could be reached for comment.
-----------------------------

The hope lies in the fact that Pacman believes he may get another shot in Dallas for the 2009 season.

And we are all praying he gets it.

Right?
