It is funny seeing how some will use or make fun of these sources and or reporters depending on if it fits an agenda that supports or hurts the player they like or dislike.

The best part is that I just sent off an email to some guy who tried to rip me a new one on my blog about never, ever, ever criticizing Tony Romo.

Yet if he had scrolled down 2 inches he would seen I just told the kid to stop 'enlightening us' with his BS about football not being the end of the world.

I give grief to the entire stupid team, but like you said most of the people just see what they want and that's what sticks in their minds.

Romo definitely needs to be more of a leader IMO.

This guy's history is undeniable. I am not sure what it takes for someone to see the fire in the past and the smoke of today.

Wanna talk denial?.. some of you "TO is the root of all our problems" people got a worse case of it then anyone else.

You can't blame this on TO, he's not the one making the o line crap, his not the one out there on defense not tackling and messing up their coverages, he's not the one false starting on every other play, he's not the one chucking passes into triple coverage, he's not the one that injured damn near half the team and so on,..

Chalk this up as my token "told you so" thread...

Perhaps it takes real media snooping to unearth some of the information we would otherwise have no idea of. I'm not sure what it is but it's starting to come out. I won't seek to get the human Romo shield all riled up. I already did that by saying I told you so. Rather, I am interested in your opinions on the current state of affairs as it relates to the cohesion and leadership that should exist in the locker room, in the meeting rooms, and on the field.

Sadly, Romo has regressed under the alleged "leadership" of Wade Phillips. Wade runs a pansy camp and pays zero attention to detail. Wade holds no one accountable for their actions. Everyone on here always says where there's smoke there's fire. Right? Well, there's plenty of smoke coming from the direction of Wade Phillips and Tony Romo.

Romo clowns in meetings? Guys (incl TO) are late left & right to team meetings? Wade has created a real smorgasbord of **** at Valley Ranch. It may take a few years just to undo the damage inflicted once he is no longer commanding this team. Who do we have at the starting QB position? Is it the class clown? Sorry. I don't need the class clown for over 60 mil. Is it a leader? That is still yet to be determined. Romo, whether he chooses to embrace it or not, has got to step up to the plate and become a leader. I would truly like to see that happened but with each passing day my faith in that possibility diminishes. Who, at the coaching level and above, does he have to serve as a mentor for him? Absolutely no one.

I guess the media is good for some things. If anything, they can leverage the one sided campaign against one player simply by reporting the "rest of the story"...

Don't tell me this started when Bill left and Wade came in... if Romo had any sense of professionalism in him, he, as QB and leader, would not have allowed it. Instead, he jump onboard the "Whatever" train...

It's about time fingers are pointed at him and people take their lips off his butt. He is the g'd*** quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. If he wants to fool around during meetings and such, then he needs to get the heck out.

It's always easy to turn and say "Well Terrell Owens..." Face it...Romo has A LOT of maturing to do both on the field and off. He's got the skills, I have no doubt about that, but his attitude may not be worth it.
