I think it'd depend on his play, if he comes out looking terrible in his first 2 series, I say keep him longer. The only reason I'd pull him sooner is if the o-line is being swiss cheese that day because it'd be silly to let Romo get hurt in a preseason game.

I would agree. If Romo comes out looking sharp then sit him after a couple of series. If he gets off to a slow start having play a bit longer. I would hope in the final pre season he will not play at all and have Weeden, Hanie and Vaughn take all the snaps.

I'd rather make sure my franchise qb isn't hurt in a meaningless preseason game and lost for the season not to disprove some country club stigma

weeden damn near needed a body cast playing behind the second string o-line against the ravens...he kept getting up though.

he's a tough cookie who has been impressive with us thus far....he is showing the talent he had in college.

Romo doesn't need to play to get in sync with his receivers or throw it to them. It's one quarter vs every day in practice for quite awhile. Get over it. Write that 100 times and call me in the morning.
