Ya know, that would be so cool if the Boys won the superbowl and Romo was NFL MVP and SB MVP.

Man, could I shut up about 20 people for about a decade with that kind of ammo.

With how much we're running and how successful we've been doing it, Romo has no chance of becoming the MVP. Murray will get it over him, and he can't currently compete with Manning, Luck, or Rivers, whose offenses are still going entirely through them.

That's okay though. I don't need Romo to win an MVP, I need him to win a Super Bowl ring, and he is doing everything that he needs to do in order to obtain that. In a shootout we've seen he can go toe to toe with Manning. This offense still has that capacity, and people have overlooked that, but until our defense starts getting pressure, we're better suited not engaging in shootouts.

Demarcus Lawrence and Okoye could really help get pressure on opposing QBs, if Melton and Crawford continue to improve, and Spencer continues to improve, we could be looking at a very very different defense. That is something the national media is overlooking. They don't care about our 2nd round draft pick, but what they've failed to realize is that we traded our 3rd to get him. A 2+3... means that we had a 1st round grade on this guy. That's a really important reinforcement.

If we can put together a pass rush, we'll be right there with Denver for best team in the league. We might already be. We have a running game that they don't possess. They aren't a balanced offense, and while they might not seem to need to be right now... later in the year that might not be the case.

Denver might be the 49ers for us this generation. They're the only team that I think can compete with us once we fire on all cylinders. If we can beat them this year though (obviously would be in the playoffs) they'll never be able to beat us. We'll be that much better next year.

If Murray keeps it up he'll be the MVP.

The man just made freaking History! How damn good is that?!

And from his interviews...he says it's all about everyone else on the team that let's him do what he does.

Cool story.

But, 50 or 60 more would...even thousands would tell you that they were right if the Cowboys don't win the SB this season. They are waiting to pounce....so don't get all froggy right now. lol

I'm sure you've all seen/heard 'em. If we continue and finish 14-2/15-1 I fully expect Romo to receive the MVP nod over Murray, unless he breaks the single season rushing record.

MVP? Who cares? All I want to know is which Cowboys will be on Madden's cover next year!

I'd take Romo's numbers over Luck's, but Rodgers is just a machine.

Rodgers' 1 INT was Week 1 at Seattle... on a ball that simply bounced off of Jordy Nelson's hands.

Romo has been where Luck is, and we've lost in the process. Even with a great TD to INT ratio, we've lost passing the football too much.

Romo actually has his highest QB rating in a year this year, even though his TD numbers and yards are lower. Really he has had 1 bad half of football, and really, he had 3 bad passes.

It would be nice if we started connecting more on those deep passes more often though.

Romo tried to hit Dez down the sideline, but Dez fell down. lol

When asked about breaking Jim Brown's record he said he's no where near Brown's category at all and doesn't want anybody to think he's on that level.

That commentary wasn't a knock on Romo. If anything it's a knock on Williams who we go to deep more often than probably anyone else. I wish he would try to get the ball at it's highest point rather than wait for it to come to him. We would connect more if he did that.

Romo would have to play considerably better then anyone else just to be a legit contender. If him and Manning finish with the same stat line, but Dallas has the better record, Manning would still win over Romo due to name recognition. It'd be pretty cool though if Romo or Murray could bring home the MVP, but I'd much rather have them be the Super Bowl MVP.

Murray would get it before Romo. It will be interesting to watch how the voting breaks down between Murray and P Manning.

Well, this team has been connecting on some amazing plays.

Rodgers deserves it so far. Best QB in the league. I'm tired of Peyton always getting it and getting blown out in the playoffs. Here is my top 5:

1) Rodgers
2) Murray
3) Peyton
4) Rivers
5) Luck

Why not both Murray and Romo?

Love Romo to death but Murray has totally brought our offense to another level and makes it easier for Romo to do what he's doing now.
