Romo Now Has Unquestioned Leadership Role

Again, I never disrespected anyone out of malice or have I ever been the first to dig into someone but I have a zero tolerance for **** talkers especially when they play the victim afterward.

With the recent cuts of Davis, Gurode, and Colombo, and the not so recent cut of Adams, Romo is now surround by malleable offensive lineman that will respond to him when he scolds them after missing an assignment that leaves him lying on his back.

This is something I am especially looking forward to this season. As a former lineman, it really irks me whenever Romo has been pressured or sacked and the camera does not spot any pissed off guys afterwards. Sure, part of your job description is to open running lanes, but your MAIN responsibility as a lineman is to PROTECT the quarterback by almost any and all means necessary. Romo's linemen should live and breath by how often defensive pressure does not get to him.

Speaking from the D Line side of things, nothing makes you less tired than seeing a demoralized Offensive Line. As a fan it pissed me off big time when our OL had that "Oh Well" body language after a sack.

It is so true, that the collected strength of the committed outweighs the strengths of a collection of individuals. You hit the nail on the head with far fewer words, whether it is family, social events, or any task that requires more than one person to accomplish, being in sync is often the differential that decides success or failure.

This is also very true, and I also think that is why the Commanders stink more often than not. They are always bringing in old "named" vets hoping that they will help the team win. However, those old vets are usually past their prime otherwise the team that got rid of them wouldn't have.

Having a bunch of old washed up vets with big egos because of their name will never get along unless it's at the pub after practice....

Our Offensive line will be OK. They are young, athletic, and very coachable. In other words, they are Shinning Stars, unlike yourself.

If you did not notice some of the things that the older players that are gone now have done and how they just seemed to go through the motions, then I don't know what to tell you.

But, one thing I think I will be able to tell you later on, is that this is now Romo's team, a team with young hungry players that HAVE to look to Romo for guidance because they know they have to learn from him...he is the starting QB.

Watching these young Oline players you can already see the fight that they have in them, and even at this young stage, they are a hell of a lot better than those others that have been released.

There is a changing of the guard, and it starts with Garrett, which in turn has Romo's back, and the young pups now know the pecking order. Not longer are there some players that think that just because they were vets before Romo became the starter that they might not have had to look to him for leadership.

I actually have no proof of that, but there were rumblings after that game for a few days that it was said that Choice did not take the blame for the fumble and that Romo should have thrown it away (which I agree with)...

It could have been misinformation, or, it could have been true because I think Choice is on thin ice for some of the things he has said or done, or does not do.
