Who gets the most heat for not winning a Championship yet? I thought that I would bring this up since the Heat are in danger of getting eliminated if they don't win game six.

They both get a lot but I would say Romo, but maybe that's just because I'm a Cowboys fan and follow Romo debates more than do Lebron debates.

It's Lebron and it's not even close. As much blame as Romo gets it is still understood at the core that he can't do it all.

In basketball, one star player influences the game much more; and the spotlight is much bigger on Lebron as it is more of a global sport. You can't go a single day on ESPN without a Lebron debate.

I live in South Florida and Im a Cowboys fan. I would have to say Romo gets bashed more. The Romo bashing is more pointed or direct. Lebron may be a national target for bashing just like Romo but not by his home town fans like Romo is.

If we were not a Cowboys Message board I doubt anyone would say Romo over Lebron.

Right now its all quiet on the Romo front and Lebron is in the playoffs so its easy to think Lebron right now.

I dont live in Dallas but its pretty obvious he gets bashed plenty there. Lebron is not bashed much here in South Florida. They both get it nationally, but Lebron doesnt get it at home like Romo does.

Romo is the easy choice for the OP's question.

You don't live in Dallas, but you assume you know what goes on there?

Ok.. i agree with the LeBron answer. ALOTTTT of people act like they flat out hate the guy. I think he's just a choker and a self indulgent weenie who needs to hire better PR people.

As has been said before, most people understand how much Romo does for this team and that he's a very good QB.

Does one have to live in Dallas in to understand that Romo gets bashed there?

Is this forum no indication?

Is sports talk radio no indication?

No I dont understand/experience it like one who lives there, but can anyone who lives there deny it?

I live in South Florida. Here, Romo gets bashed. Romo gets bashed in conversation here. Romo gets bashed here like he does nationally. Lebron doesnt. Lebron isnt bashed in the paper here. I cant remember ever hearing anyone here bash him. Im sure it has happened but its not a common thing.

LeBron and rightfully so. Romo hasn't really been given the proper help to win a title while LeBron is playing with two superstars and still can't get it done.

How many Romo bashers do you see on this forum compared to people who support him on this forum? Saying there are lots of Romo bashers around Dallas and then using this forum as evidence is weak sauce homie.

Most people know LJ is ripped more.. and rightfully so. There is some evidence for both not coming through in clutch time, but in basketball, a superstar player should be able to effect the outcome of a game more easily than in football. Not to mention that "King James" has a garbage personality and attitude on top of his choking.

For one I didnt just use this forum.

Are you saying Romo doesnt get bashed in Dallas? Can anyone who lives in Dallas honestly say Romo isnt bashed there? Im just curious.

The question wasn't "who gets bashed?".. was it?

Im sure there are a few knuckleheads in any region who bash Romo and say he's a choker or worthless or whatever.. but the vast majority bash James more, and rightfully so. Not worth discussing anymore, as most people in this thread know the correct answer.

Romo gets bashed in Dallas, he just doesn't get bashed on this board as much because the Romo defenders unite.

I am not a Romo basher but I run into quite a few people who thinks that Romo is a choker. I don't bother arguing with them anymore because most don't fully understand the game and Romo really hasn't provided enough substance for the casual fan.

Yes, I believe the OP asked who gets bashed more.

Just because 3 people say Lebron gets bashed more doesnt necessarily make it so. In your little world, maybe he does. In reality and out here in the big world a rational person can probably make a legitimate argument for either. My observation would tend to lean toward Romo getting more bashing. In your little world apparently all is well for Romo except for a few knuckleheads here and there.

It's a fair question. They are both great players at their respective sports. They both get bashed for being chockers or not being able to win the "big game".The differance is James, since he was in middle school was viewed as a sure fire NBA prospect. While Tony was a undrafted free agent that clawed and scratched his way into the NFL and has had awful olines. The truth is both are great players that will not silence their critics until they get a ring. I think they are both destined to get a ring.

Lebron is the most criticized athlete ever.

The dude brought a lot of it upon himself during his free agent year.

Im sure he can't wait for Dwight Howard to go somewhere else so he'll catch some of his heat.

James.

Not even close.

The funny part is, he pulls a move like he did in game 4 the other night and begs for more.

Uh, Romo. I've lived in Cowboy country my entire life and while only being in my mid 20's, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I have never seen an athlete as humble and as gifted as Romo be given less respect in any organized sport.

Lebron doesn't even get that much hate. He's widely regarded as one of the best players in the NBA and he's criticized because he's sucked in crunch time his entire career. How many 4th quarter comebacks has he brought his team back from? Yet he's still regarded as King James.

There are a large amount of people that'd take Joe *** Flacco over Romo. There are many that wanted us to draft a QB with the first pick so Romo wouldn't start. Still more wanted us to trade him for something ********.

It's Romo and it really isn't close.
