Romo plays like a veteran

Why Henry is not giving up 5 or 8 TD a game. I think Garrett is willing to be this aggressive with Romo and while I like Johnson as a backup I don't know if Garrett would be as aggressive in his play calls with Johnson. I think he would try and taylor things more to Johnson strenght and try and avoid weakness. I think Garrett trust Romo to go out and execute the plays.

I don't know the 5 to 8 TD given up by Henry was pretty good. Granted it was not worth an Oscar but pretty good. :laugh2:

I agree, however, I also think that that is how Garrett will operate throughout every game. He said that the team will attack, attack, and attack more...and it is showing!

Pretty different than getting a 10 point lead and sitting on it hoping to pull the game out by running out the clock.

Garrett said the he will attack no matter what the score just to show his offense that that is what this team is all about, and to show the opposing defense that the Cowboys are not going to play soft even if they have a big lead...and that is just fine with me!

;)

Me too. It has the potential to make teams become one dimensional earlier than they otherwise would. You often hear announcers talking about teams "going for it" when they shouldn't when playing the Colts because they know the Colts are going to score TD's. Therefore, they can't settle for FG's themselves.

People are always trying to find someone to compare Romo to, and I don't think I've seen a good one yet.

I don't need to compare him to anyone except the guy taking snaps on the other side of the field. So far, he has outperformed Eli Manning and Trent Green. Next up is Rex Grossman. Just keep on beating these guys and I will be ecstatic.
What a novel way of looking at a player.

Someone on footballsfuture.com said he is the next Fran Tarkenton. Well he was a great qb, he was considered a choker. So i hope he is more like Elway.
