I don't think anyone is trying to say that it was anything like the Emmitt shoulder seperation. Certainly it was not. But like most here I too was proud of the way he took that hit...and it WAS a Hard hit...and got up and played lights out. BTW the doctors and trainers were checking him on the sideline to see if his jaw was broken...it was that hard of a hit.

I have seen other star players leave the field for lesser injuries and I have seen lesser players let something like that make them 'gun shy'. Tony got up and played as if nothing had happened when in fact he was bleeding and hurting. You may not call it heroic...I don't know that I would call it that either...but I would call it a guttsy effort and say that it at least proves that he is a tough guy and not just the pretty boy celebrity quarterback that fans of some lesser teams have suggested.
