In games started and finished by Tony Romo this season, the Cowboys won 54% of their games.

In games started and finished by Drew Bledsoe this season, the Cowboys won 60% of their games.

So please stop with the Tony Romo saved the season BS.

Reality is Romo is a young QB trying to make it and has done a pretty good job. I like Bledsoe but Dallas future is not with Bledsoe. Romo regardless if you want to admit it or not helped give Dallas a spark when we needed it this season.

What was sad is that the longer Romo played, the more he looked like Bledsoe. I don't know what happened to getting the ball out quickly. He jsut went away from that. Very frustrating.

In games started and finished by Drew Bledsoe this season, Drew Bledsoe LOST 40% of those games by throwing INT's at absolutely critical times.

So please stop with the Tony Romo saved the season BS.

Fixed it for ya.

The pass protection also got worse and worse as the season went on. Very frustrating.

I really think its why we need a real OC and not some "vote for the play" committee thing...

That's true. You can't throw on time when your RG (not naming names) gets pushed into your face on your third step. Still, I do think his play deteriorated. I think he tried to create to much and didn't just run the plays as designed. But hey, I don't have game tape. It's just a guess.

I can agree with that. I did feel like he was trying to do a little too much on his own.. especially during the Detroit game.

Parcells is on him about making good decisions with the ball. After his fumble to start the 2nd half against Seattle, Romo walks to the sideline and Parcells is in his face and says: "If it isn't there, throwing F-ing ball away!"

My Romo reality is that he will be the starter going into the 2007 season.

My Bledsoe reality is that he will be elsewhere in 2007. And I like Bledsoe, but his time here, unless as a backup, is done.

Not much else for me to discuss at this point other than who's gonna back up Romo and if they're going to draft a QB.

Yes, and when Bledsoe was playing our defense resembled something other than a doormat. That might have been a teeny factor JCL.
