I don't know what Kellys contract is, but he just seems like a guy that would just up and quit

Yep....a la Petrino. He knows deeep down he's a college guy. Just like Holtz knew it, and Saban knew it, and Petrino knew it.

Heard norm on the post game mention UT as well. Are they already not happy with Strong?

welcome to last year. Yeah man...they are 'not happy' alright. Pretty sure they're head for a 3-4 win season and he'll be gone. Good guy but not a fit for that delusional fan base. Kelly would turn them around pretty quick IMO.

I think that might have been preliminary and another one will be done tomorrow. i don't know keep in mind it is the FAN.

I'm not too familiar with the fan, credible or not so credible? Or are they doom and gloomers

Idiots are unhappy with him. He hasn't had any time to get in his recruits. The defense is sucking this year but we found our QB. The new athletic director who won't even take over till next year should give him at least another year as he deserves it. If Kelly comes to UT, I'll stop watching.

NO, he wouldn't. We don't want to run that type of crazy offense. Strong will get another year. At least we have a QB now. That will shut the more delusional of the bunch up for the time being.

They're mad because they have a delusions of grandeur as if the logo on their helmets and the drugged cattle in their stadium makes them a stand out program, when they simply aren't.

Question. When was the lat time a franchise QB and his number 1 receiver were both out for an extended period of time? I really can't remember anything like this.

Actually, I'd say being in the top 10 winningest college programs for the past 40 or years or so - if not more - says your wrong.

We have to figure 6-8. Good thing about it being the shoulder is that you do not have to build up endurance and muscle lost if it was a bad leg injury. So rehab is relatively short and simple. And he will be able to throw before that so he can get his touch back. I can see us being 4-3 when he comes back or 5-4. Given the shape this division is in we could actually cruise to the divisional title from there. Now home field is almost certainly out of the question but history (especially our own) shows that is not always that important.

Nebraska was that way from the 70's through the 90's. Then what happened? If it happened there it can happen anywhere.

Ha can you imagine if this only ended up being 4 weeks? There would be a city wide holiday i believe

Yeah, and knowing Tony and his toughness I wouldn't be completely shocked...and at least it the non throwing shoulder.

He could have come back IIRC when he broke it the last time for the final game, but it was meaningless

Sure it can; but my point is that his insinuation that we shouldn't demand excellence due to our winning history is wrong.
