The good news is we're in a great position being 2-0 and the rest of the division being [censored]. The bad news is ... Brandon Weeden.

We've long questioned why he's on the roster, bemoaned his check-down nature, and said how we're screwed if he's at the helm for any length of time. Oh boy.

Going back to the good news ... if we can somehow just squeak out a couple of wins over the next, say, 6 weeks, we'd be 4-4. That wouldn't feel so bad.

Well if he can't perform he shoudn't be on the roster after this season

If break is mid clavicle Romo could return in 5 weeks. If it involves AC joint then 8 weeks is likely.

Weeden sucks and can't pass!! (even though he went 7 for 7 off the bench)

Sean Lee sucks and is made of glass (even though he had 14 tackles and a pick)

Claiborne sucks and will give up 400 yards if he starts (even though he has played well the last two games)

OK, I'm all caught up on the last year's worth of threads now....

According to Schefter.
I'm sure this will probably change three or four times before The end of the week.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo could miss 8-10 weeks
by Rotowire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
The Cowboys expect quarterback Tony Romo(fractured clavicle) to miss 8-10 weeks, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Although the timeline could change after further evaluation, the Cowboys expect Romo to miss about half the season, making him a candidate for IR/designated to return. Romo missed the final 10 weeks of the 2010 season with the same injury.

ESPN reports Dez Bryant's foot screw was surgically placed into Romo's shoulder. Both players out 36 games each. Randy Galloway blames Stephen Jones.

Maybe. We needed to fix the oline and defense and there weren't many good QBs to draft especially this past draft.

Oline? What would we need to address there? All of our starters are young except our right tackle and we have three Pro Bowlers. I think Collins will end up being there (RT) by next year anyway. IMO we need a stud tight end to replace Witten and we need some corner help as well. Our biggest need IMO is a wide receiver with some blazing speed. That would keep safety's deep and allow our running game to be even better.

I'm talking about in the last 2-3 drafts since the person I was replying to said the backup QB needed to be addressed 2 years ago. It absolutely needed to be addressed.
