#1 they both play for the most popular team in their sport.

#2 they both are very good regular season players.

#3 they both make a lot of money including record contracts.

#4 they both get unwanted press dating celebrity girlfriends

#5 they both are right up there with the faces of their sport.

#6 they both start to fold leading up to and in the postseason.

funny cause i just thought of 6 things that are comparable.

I have an idea. Why dont you choose a different team? I cant stand Cowboys fans like you. Romo has started less than 2 seasons. It is getting so old and lame. What a flippin tool.

I thought Starter went out of business years ago....

I think thier label was bought years ago by nike or adidas when they pretty much bankrupt. It might not have been those 2 but someone did like Nike bought the Converse label.

Nothing personal, but I have to tear this post a new ******.

#1 So do almost 80 other professionals in the NFL and MLB.
#2 Fantastic/MVP type regular season players
#3 Nothing record about Tony contract. He's not hurting our cap and unlike Alex, he's actually outplaying his deal.
#4 Who gives a blank.
#5 BS Romo play did not decline in 2006, the team's play did and in 2007 he injured his thumb. Alex has had 10 plus seasons and 3 teams to get in done in post season. I'm willing to give Romo at least one more shot, before I even put him in the Payton Manning category.

Don't know anything about Starter but doubt they signed him for that much money cause they have nothing else to do. Since I don't believe he's the man whose designing the shoes & clothes, kinda think Starter intends to start efforts toward a major comeback. Will be interesting to see if/when Starter commercials start appearing on commercials & in various publications, etc.

Very odd, starter kinda went outta style like in the 90s.

I guess you can chock it up to being cyclical...

Romo will help their line I would think... he's a popular guy...

I can't believe Nike, Reebok or Under Armour couldn't/didn't get him...

He is going the way of Peyton Manning. I just hope he wins SB faster. Seriously.

Manning won a SB in his first two years as a starter in NFL:eek::
