Oh, there's no meltdown here. I'm not the one making outrageous claims like being better than NFL personnel.

More scouting reports that you say don't exist, and these are typical of what is available on other major sites. Arm good enough, terrible footwork and inconsistent mechanics. Nothing in there about a noodle arm, except from you.

I'm sure you'll handwave these away as well, though. That seems to be your M.O.

Yeah, I am going to "handwave" these away, my counter to you was not what the "Scouts" were saying, I gave MY analysis and asked you for GIFs. YOU stated "no one", I proved you wrong. Keep up.

I prefer to keep the discussion on what Dak is doing in the NFL, a good in-depth analysis. "Except from you" - No one is going to put "noodle arm" for anyone in their reports, it's a harsh descriptor. But again, the report I showed you said EXACTLY what I was saying. LOL

Yet again, you going to provide some GIFs and video on the claims you made or no?

> No one is saying what you're saying

> Almost everyone

> DON'T DISCREDIT WHAT I'M SAYING! MUH REPORTS!

Wew laddy!

And just as its been said on here multiple times, as soon as Dakota has a bad game, people will be calling for Romo. The lev3l of overreaction on this board is amazing, but it shouldn't surprise me.

Im not going to make GIFs when my argument was about scouting reports. The pros have already done this work.

Since you are claiming that Dak has a NOODLE arm, if that were true i think we'd have all noticed it by now.

You are the one making the outrageous claim that no one else is. If anyone needs to provide video evidence (and not just 1 or 2 or 3 videos where the throws could be attributed to poor mechanics) it should be you.

I think we can all see with our eyes over the course of 13 games that Dak might not have a cannon, but it's not consistently WEAK. I do believe the burden of proof would fall on you since you are making the claims outside the norm.

LOL

I talk about his play in the NFL thus far, you go to scouting reports. You say no one is saying what I'm saying, I prove you wrong. You move the goal post, have a meltdown, double down, melt down more, and here we are.

Yet again, want to show some video on this or you all good, bruh? I have some free time tonight. I can wait, I just won't be holding my breath.

"I think we all would have noticed by now"

Check the Eagles and Steelers threads. Multiple people in that thread stated as such. The problem with most people, they are very in the moment. End up getting a W, all is lost, forgotten, or forgiven.

People thought Dak was the future in Dallas, understandable the excuses would be made. The dark ages after Aikman were brutal. Emotion clouds objectivity far too often in many situations, but surprisingly, it happens in sports.

Also, funny you're back to this

> No one else is

Earlier

> Almost everyone

(Also I've provided videos in the past, posted them on this very site. I won't be continuing to do so so that you can catch up. I'm waiting for counter arguments for those against this. I am waiting)

Meltdown? i am not the one posting aggressively and with hostility, "bruh".

we've all been watching the games all year long. That's all the video anyone here needs, but by all means post your one video where dak made a bad throw, and claim its because of a lack of arm strength.

None of these scouting reports (save for one, and even yours doesn't indicate a lack of arm strength necessary to play QB in the NFL) indicts him for having a weak arm.

The guy lit it up for 8 weeks throwing mostly short and intermediate range passes in a limited playbook. The intermediate range throws are the NFL throws where armstrength matters; the outs, fitting the ball into tight spaces between coverage across the middle, etc. If Dak had no arm, that would have been a disaster.

Not to mention the fact that if the guy had "no arm" like you allege, he wouldn't have even been in the discussion to be drafted at ALL yet somehow managed to average a 3rd or 4th round grade by scouts (who you have no faith in) and the team that actually drafted him.

There's a mountain of evidence we've all seen that points to Dak NOT having a noodle arm, yet you want to see a video complilation. Why don't YOU provide video for your point that his arm isn't up to par, which flies in the face of everything we have seen so far?

Also: its going to have to be more than one or two videos. If you can make the claim that his arm is consistently weak, we'll need to see enough examples to vet that claim. which can't be done with 2 or 3 videos.

You said you've done all this research, so it's time to put your money where your mouth is.

Can I ask why so many people are more loyal to the rookie than we are to the player who stuck though us though thick and thin. Who played with broken ribs, vertebrae, and punctured lungs. Who was literally the only reason we won a game some years. Etc.? I get sticking with Dak while we are doing good... But what has he done to earn our loyalty more than Romo if he stops doing good?

Who knows, but what interests me more is the couple of people who are so intent on tearing Dak Prescott down and making up all kinds of stuff about him. Why?

So nothing, thanks. You tried, it was a good effort (Not really), it's over.

You can post the videos, GIFs, and show me examples of these things any time though.

I don't know... His performance these past two weeks seems to give enough reason to suggest Romo maybe should be starting, why make anything up?

All you've done is say "Weeeeeew Lad" like a 4channer or redditor and have

1. completely discounted actual draft scouting reports
2. completely discounted everyone that's actually sat and watched the games except yourself
3. refused to provide evidence you SAY you have compiled
4. continually asked others for evidence that you yourself are unwilling to provide

and then declared yourself the winner of this farce of a discussion.

Im not sure either, but people are trying to do it. As if "he's not getting the job done" isn't a good enough reason.

Although im beginning to suspect why, but I'm keeping that to myself since that's a huge thread derail and accusation. These people know what's in their hearts, though. (The WEEEEEEEW LAD comment over and over is a dead giveaway)

1. Didn't "discount" scouting reports, mocked you for using them instead of providing your own analysis and saying "no one"

2. If I was a jerk, I would provide you the amount of private messages I've gotten on here with people saying THEY AGREE with me. A few tonight. No, not "everyone" - some people avoid the dog piling, I don't blame them.

3. I have "compiled" - My only job was to present evidence, I do not have to continue to provide this because someone overlooked a thread earlier in the year. It's tiresome showing the same evidence over and over again until it makes rounds for the amount of people on this board. Not happening. I have yet to receiver a single counter with examples of GIFs and videos to back up that it's "mechanics" and "footwork" - You're dodging.

4. Have provided.

Yes, I'm the winner. You get a participation trophy though.

Dak has been amazing but he looked like a rookie tonight plain and simple.
I agree, but he's the type that will learn from it and rebound. He had a bad game tonight but I'm still just as excited that he is our guy and on our team as I was last night at this time. Everyone is allowed a bad game or a couple bad games or even a bad season and still be The Man.

I'm confident he'll bounce back in some fashion or another. He's a stud and he's awesome. I'm not giving up on him, even if Romo starts anytime this year, I still sleep good at night knowing we got Dak for the next 10-12 years.

This should put to bed any argument about armstrength. Although i'm sure mattjames2010 "i post like a /pol reader" will discount this too.

I don't know why I didn't look this up before, but its ball velocity from the combine for QBs going back several years.
http://blogs.ourlads.com/2016/03/02/quarterback-ball-velocity-at-nfl-combine-2008-2015/

Dak Prescott's average ball velocity was 54mph. For comparison, Jameis Winston was 55mph, as was Russell Wilson. Joe Flacco also recorded 55mph. Tyrod Taylor - 50mph.

Throwing a football roughly as hard as Jameis Winston, Joe Flacco, and Russell Wilson means you have a noodle arm? I don't buy it.

So again, no actual game footage, no GIFs, just combine results and scouting reports? Nothing you want to show from the NFL or the, you know, actual games he has played? LOL

Still waiting. *yawn*

Also, don't care if you "don't buy it" - If it's mechanical, prove it with visual evidence. It's already been acknowledged, BY YOU, that the velocity on his passes are inconsistent. So you are in agreement there.

We differ on WHY. So yet again, show me the visual evidence. This does not explain him stepping up into this throws with sound mechanics, and it the velocity being low on his passes.

So, enlighten me.
