I'd absolutely love it; I could care less where Romo ends up if we get a decent draft pick out of it, but.....

No way anyone would give a #1 for Romo, and if the Skins let Cousins go, they will package picks to get the QB of their choice in the draft.

Because Romo is good enough to make us have to play in the first round. I want first round byes.

You trade Romo to WAS, and the division becomes a bloodbath for the next 2-3 years.

Thank you for your explanation.

I posted earlier that I think the grand slam on Prescott allows you to have some flexibility with your #1 picks. If you could somehow leverage that into filling your biggest need on a good bet player regarded as the top player in this draft, I think you have to look into it.

The league talks about the key positions on a team being QB, LT, CB, and pass rusher. This team could have three of those four filled by very young players, along with arguably the league's best running back and the best offensive line in the game. That's a lot of boxes for success checked off.

Yeah I mean I think this team's personnel on defense isn't bad. I Think what's missing is a game changer. A game changer or star on defense can be the deciding factor in a team going from a middle of the pack defense to a great one.

I'd do it. For only one guy though and that's Garrett.

If rumors about Mike Glennon and Jimmy Garropolo are true, Romo's contract shouldn't be an issue. $14 million for your starting QB is low.

Yeah but that escalates incredibly. Whoever takes that deal is basically saying they believe Romo will play until his 40s.....and that's without even knowing if he can take a hit.

He's been getting injured with one of the best offensive lines in football. Its a risk. I don't underestimate teams willing to take the risk. I just don't know at what cost.

Same here.

Health is the one huge roll of the dice anyone who signs or trades for him will have to be willing to take. Part of the package involving Romo, and the one reason he's available at all.

The skins would never do this but yes I would. It would make a division rival much better but it wont last very long and he could get hurt on any given play. Id take the chance for the 17th pick.
My next call would be to the Browns lol 17 and 28 for the #1 I'm not sure of what the all mighty chart says but I gotta think that would be close.
