Romo vs Bledsoe: Short to Intermediate Passing

Why we signed him originally is beyond me. Purcells' had his head up his butt on that one.
Bledsoe was never good with short to intermediate passes, but he was pretty good in the red zone until this year. In fact, last season's red zone numbers were outstanding.

2005 34 of 58...59%....16TD...0int..109.7 rating
2006 8 of 21....38%....4TD.....2int.....46.3 rating

There are those who complained when Bledsoe was brought here, kept complaining all through last year, and now feel that his benching justifies all the complaining. Same Drew he's always been, etc.

Maybe.

But when you compare his red zone performances this year and last, it's like watching a lemming falling off a cliff.
