Romo was a QB that pulled the team along. He was let down year after year, mostly by the defense in big games (in end of 4th quarter shortly after he fought their way down the field for the lead). Other obvious let downs were being let down by Crayton quitting on his route, and by the ref on the Dez call.

It’s crazy as a mod you’re being one sided like this…Dak Attack videos don’t get posted nearly as frequent as trash from Bayliss and Cowerd but ok. Makes sense.
All moderators are members first. Moderators second. Please. Expand upon how one-sided I am in this instance after I personally have been critical of all talking head sports videos posted in this forum. If necessary, I will provide post examples.

Neither. They both suck(ed) even though they are / were fun to watch at times. Regular season wins mean nothing after so many years, so the one thing Romo had going for him was that people still believed. The last Superbowl was "only" a decade ago.

lol. Dozens of moderators have posted thousands of opinions for over two decades on this site. It is 2024. The practice is still surprising to some members.
Yeah mods having an opinion isn’t shocking. Nobody wants generic robot like responses. But I guess I assumed to be a mod you had to be fair and balanced…

Don’t know why this topic keeps coming up. It’s been the same results in the playoffs with both QBs. However, Dak has a better winning percentage, we’ve won more division titles with him and we’ve made it to the playoffs more times with him. He’s also finished higher the MVP voting than Romo ever did and he’s led the league in TD passes, which is something Romo never did. Not to mention he’s missed fewer games with injuries than Romo. Despite both having only 2 playoff wins Dak has been the better, more steady QB.

Romo had the mental aspect of the game down, just his body couldn't hold up to the pounding.

With "dumb it down Dak", "dial it back Dak", or whatever catch phrase used for simplifing things, Dak needs training wheels.
The physical part of the game has taken its toll on Dak also.

With Romo, I felt like we always had a chance. 4th quarter comebacks seemed doable.
Dak does not inspire hope at all when the game is on the line.
I should just turn the boob-tube off and save myself the heartache.

So, Romo all the way.

Dak and Romo should have battled it out @ training camp after Romo lost his job from injury the previous year.

Whether someone prefers Romo or Dak isn’t shocking. Both choked in the playoffs so I get choosing either guy or choosing neither.

But this warped view you guys have of them both is just insane. One is on training wheels and one had the mental aspect down except when it came to the end of the game and he’s throw a stupid incompletion or interception…it’s just odd lol.

Clearly i'm out of my mind making this comment (there I said it for you, be nice). Either way, we know what Romo brought to the game, he was able to juke a pass rusher like no one else. Dak is a freight train. Neither player was/is known for being clutch. Who ya got, this should be easy!!?
Is this like the millionth post of Romo vs Prescot???????? Clutch???????? There was something about Romo when it came to big games, you always felt he was going to give the Cowboys a chance. That can't be said about Prescot, every time he drops back to pass in a big game your attention immediately goes to where he's throwing the ball and what defender is in the neighborhood to pick it.
