Now this is funny.

A year ago, said that you would no longer support Dak and would be done with him if he received a record breaking contract.

After Dak received the record breaking contract, you continued to be a 100% Dak supporter.

Then after Dak sucked during a game this season, you said his teammates needed to beat him up.

Now please…..tell us again who has the mental issues?

Look who's talking? You NEVER have bashed Romo for anything he did wrong. NEVER. At least I bash Dak when he does do wrong. Like I said, y'all have a mental issue. Infatuation to the core.

Still beating that dead horse I see….

Romo was fun to watch and I never felt there was a sure loss coming with him at the helm. Dallas could beat any team when Romo was on but I think he lacked what Brady had….a killer instinct and the will to win at all costs. He was a good QB, great at times but couldn’t get it done, whether it was his fault or not. Time to move on…..

I can’t believe there are Cowboys “fans” who not only trash Aikman but Romo too. Tony Romo was a legend and a man. Yeah we never won a Super Bowl with him but that was a man I could respect. I’m getting really tired of all these people who come on here to prop up Dak and in the process are trying to tarnish Troy’s legacy and Romo’s heroics. Not trying to make another Dak thread but enough with trolling these boards! Tony Romo was talented and we wish we could have a man like that again running this football team
Being a fan for 50 years I felt there was an unwritten rule that if a player plays for the Cowboys you support him. Give him the benefit of the doubt and such. When Troy started getting disrespected to support Dak that really rubbed me the wrong way. Then when Romo started getting disrespected to support Dak it bothered me but not as bad as when Troy got dissed.

What set me over the edge to put me in a place that I really, really dislike Dak was the Trey Lance situation. I remember bashing Josh Ball for his off the field issues and I got called out for not supporting our player and not giving him a 2nd chance. And I agree as a Cowboys fan I should support the player, regardless of personal opinion. But when Lance was here there was some serious hate for the guy and he didn’t do anything besides get traded for. I mean Kelvin Joseph got more support on this board than Lance did.

The argument against Lance was he was a waste of team resources. I agree. But I feel strongly that paying Dak 60 million APY is a waste of team resources. The argument for Dak’s contract is don’t blame Dak for Jerry being a bad GM. Well that same argument should have been made for Lance. Don’t hate the player and the person of Lance because Jerry sucks.

I think for if you add up the constant disrespect of Lance, Aikman, Emmitt and Romo to prop up Dak made me really long for the day Dak isn’t with us.

Who is trashing Romo? Is it considered trashing if we acknowledge some of Romo's limitations? Romo had some pretty good teams and he lost in the playoffs just like Dak. Why is it okay to criticize Dak for failing to win but not Romo?

Romo was a good QB. He had some real talent at the position. But he had his limitations too, some of the same limitations as Dak. He also got a huge contract, for his time, just before his body started to fail him.

You've blasted Dak for being greedy a lot this past contract. That being said, everyone knows you always bring up Romo to defend Dak so the post came across as propping Dak by bashing Romo.

I think it was simply people thinking you were once again defending Dak by using Romo rather than you blasting both QB's for greed. I don't think they remember you were for letting Dak walk over that 60 million/year contract. I just think there's no point in bringing up Romo anymore. It's been almost a decade. He's not in the NFL and as good as a QB as I thought he was, in the end he didn't get it done for whatever reason. Dak won't get it done either.

Coach/QB combination is so important. Dallas got it right with Jimmy and Troy and very briefly, perhaps, with Romo and Parcells.

Once in a while a coach can luck into a Super Bowl with a decent QB. Had Zeke built upon his rookie season just maybe Dallas could have been one of those teams.

I don’t see where people prop up, Prescott, and put down Romo. That’s not what they do. it’s people that try to compare that to maybe. Romo was a warrior. He was an excellent quarterback, and he got better as the years went on. Extremely better after he got married in my opinion. But then his body broke down. Same thing with Prescott is getting better with the age. But people hated him from the beginning because of Romo. I’m sick of those people they lost their hero and Prescott took over and now he’s a bum because of it.

That’s why some people say cowboy fans, LMAO they’re the embarrassment not the franchise

I'm not going back to 2016 and dig thru those threads. Not happening.
I’m done with Prescott, he’s one hit away from having the same season career ending as Romo . Cowboy fans we are blessed to have them both. After Troy Aikman, we had like 17 different quarterbacks before we found Tony. We didn’t have to do that. We were blessed to get Prescott in the fourth round. It’s not his fault he has to deal with a Jerry organization.

Romo was an amazing quarterback, why don’t you just leave it at that or was your agenda always to bash Prescott fans?
