Romo Weak Arm?

Is it just me or does tony romo have 1 of the weakest arms in the nfl? I mean he underthrew wr's plenty of times this year, the obvious 1 against the giants underthrowing owens for the game winning td on the last drive but it wasnt jus that. All season he has been underthrowing wr's and if usually when you dont have a very good nfl arm when you try to throw it hard it fludders which i seen plenty of times throughout the season. Im preety sure we didnt throw alot of deep ball's because romo cant get it there with the accuracy. This is just my opinion but i want to know what you guys think of tony's arm strenth i think it's average at best, just looking back at all the big plays we could have had werent converted mainly becuase of his arm strength. He needs to get it stronger forsure. I remember brady coming out he had a good arm but it seems now he has a dart and he didnt have that 5-6 years ago. Your thoughts?

Well he did underthrow plenty of passes probably because he doesnt have a great arm, but not everyone can have a cannon like brady.

Coming out of college, Romo's passes were clocked at 57 mph.

Joe Flacco had the strongest arm in the draft this year. He threw 58 mph.

Not the best arm for deep balls for sure but it's adequate enough for the short to midrange stuff.

doubt he's talking about speed. I don't think Romo has one of the stronger arms in the league. but i think it has more to do with the way he throws.

Romo more than makes up for underthrowing Crayton with his mobility...

Onfieldrush and possibly Shooterware are a couple of phonies. Probably foreskin fan(s), posing as good guys trying to to start something out of nothing, as if we are going to march on Jerry's house with torches demanding he do something about Romo's weak arm. What garbage. Go back to extreme foreskins and then, please drink a nice glass of Clorox.

He probably has one of the weaker arms for a starter in the league. Definitely the weakest arm of any of the NFC East starters. However, he can just about make every throw in the game, except for the cross field out pattern...but few can make that throw and it's a dangerous throw anyway. Watch other QB's and he's far more accurate than most of the starters in the league. While he may have the occasional underthrow on the deep ball, there's plenty of starters who miss the deep ball far more often and are far less accurate on the short and intermediate stuff. That being said, Romo's underthrows usually have nothing to do with pure arm strength and more to do with poor footwork when he does underthrow them.

He obviously doesn't have a canon, but if you can get the ball in the end zone, which he obviously can, that's all i'm concerned. Now when he stops doing that, then we can complain.

Methinks you doth protest too much, old man. Your word strokes and logic, which is flawed, have simularities. Both of you have simular writing styles and cannot spell simple words. I propose that you are an agent provacatuer, sent by the Prince of Darkness (Danny Snyder), to forment discontent. I will say no more.

His footwork is often off because he's so creative, but at least in terms of the velocity he can muster, he's not one of the weaker arms in the league by a long shot. He's above average, at least.

He probably is the weakest in the NFCE, though.

Forgive us. It's just that you type, spell and punctuate like a typical Commander fan.
