Jerry didn't pick the player I wanted. How dare him. :chainsaw:

I heard that he was senile, does not like to pick lineman because they are lower than whales, likes shiny specialty players, QB should not need OL to do their job and it is expensive, everyone comes to see WR, RB, and CB. :)

OFFENSE wasn't our weekness last year......

At times our offense really spudered last year too. Sure our defense was much worse.. but our offense wasn't wonderful either.

I don't think I'd be too happy going into the season with what we have on the oline, but again, there's still quite a few rounds left.

The only Linemen we may draft will be someone that can play center or Tackle

I think the team is happy with guard depth this year despite what some fans think we have addressed part of the oline problem

If we can somehow get Konz or a good center or guard by moving up in the 2nd or even sliding up in the 3rd that would help. Im just scared of this Center position especially.

It was, you just have a selective memory

Re-watch the Pats game, first skins game, both eagles games and the 2nd Giants game. Every time we played a team with a decent defensive front we struggled to move the ball and we can't score in the redzone

i'm gonna go out on a limb and call that a weakness

Then recall these infamous words: 'Run away...run away, QUICKLY!'

Dallas just secured one of the NFL's best and youngest cornerback groups, and what you offer, is to start to cry...

Nobody's crying, but we're not all as blind to this team's issues as you apparently are. This team has several glaring holes. That's great that we just poured all our key resources into one of them. It doesn't do anything to help the others.

The cowboys did put resources to the oline the issue is you did not like the route they went they had a plan and they executed it this off season.

Just because you do not like who they signed does not mean they did not address the oline this offseason. Once again Guards are less valuable in the NFL as you saw DeCastro fell to 24 in this draft.

It is about overall line play not just one person it is how the line works as a unit. New Orleans had one of the best interior oline in the game last year with two highly rated pro Guards and they still did not make the Super Bowl.

If their idea of "putting resources" into the o-line is simply signing Livings and Bernadeau, then I reiterate once again that I have no faith in this team's ability to find quality linemen.

That is putting resources to it and they are solid players. The oline will be much improved. The difference is I do not believe you need all pro guards to win which is what you ans several other fans think we need. I also am expecting some of the young guys from last year to improve.

That is how you win SuperBowls paying premium positions, CB, pass rushers, QB a stud wr and tackles. Then a few exception here and then you fill around with competent solid players.

Last years vets where terrible the young guys struggled and the one that played the best out of the rookies got injured.

No where did I say i was expecting ProBowl guard play but better overall solid line play from inside that we lacked last year.

of course that is on the ASSUMPTION that both those guards play better for us then they did for their last teams. You really need to know the difference between scrubs that might get better and blue chip prospects.

I understand.....but Left Tackles have been considered the prime position on the Oline......usually goes against the other teams best pass rushing player and usually one on one.

You would think a team with average left tackles starting wouldnt win many SB's

The last five yrs says otherwise.

But your correct....we need better unit play.....maybe coaching can make that happen and we dont need all pro players all over the OL.

Most people couldn't name the names on the OL from the cowboys SB teams in the 90s does that mean they where unimportant in our success?

Livings has started for three years and was a starting guard on a playoff team with a rookie QB. yet he is a scrub I am confused here on what people label as scrubs because last I looked he was solid player.

The question is the kid from Carolina he has some starting experience but he is the bigger question mark than Livings.

considering the oldest guard on the team is 31, I am really starting having a hard time believing you are a Cowboys fan. sad you are here trolling instead of on your own teams board talking draft.
