I never believed the December curse stuff until today. Romo and Witten looked absolutely shell shocked. First time we ever lost when Newman has an INT.

Lose our best defensive player.

Wrong.

Those are some impressive numbers, but he's been lucky with defenders not picking a couple off.

that is a weak argument because there is no stat for "almost intercepted".

December's not over yet, but let's not kid ourselves. Romo hasn't really done anything great this month. He's just not cost us like he has in previous Decembers. Which is a notable feat.

You've gotta be kidding me.... You must be one of those "almost intercepted" guys too.

:bang2: That drives me absolutely batty. I cringe everytime I see it happen when I'm watching the game. You might as well tell the refs to go ahead and let them have the first down so you don't have to expend the energy on the play.

the CBs just aren't reacting to the play fast enough

Romo has called better plays in 2 no-huddle drives in two weeks than Garrett's called since early November with weeks of film and preparation time. :lmao:

Clearly he should focus more on being a quarterback and less on being the field goal holder.

Umm, no. He had an interception against Denver and we lost that on Thanksgiving. That year he had 3 INT's, and we lost all 3 games.

I went by what CBS stated and wasn't it a fumble recovery against Denver?

Yes...and he intercepted Jake Plummer that day.

So after another depressing defeat, someone's highest priority is ... posting Tony's stats and absolving him of all blame. Way to keep your eye on the prize.

Silver lining, bbgun.

The season is over.

At least Romo is playing well in December. Plus, it proves that he can.

That still would not be enough. Romo would also need to kick the field goals too.

and he needs to learn how to play fullback as well so that maybe MBIII will have a hole to punch it in at the goal line.

oh and he also needs to gain 100 pounds of muscle and fat and play oline period so that he can block for himself.

Meh his stats are a bit inflated by junk drives (see today and end of NY) but yes he has had a decent December.

Yeah. It's probably right up there with making a post about 1000 yard receivers just to rub it in on someone right after a loss. Of course that post conveintly left out a couple of players who have a shot at 1000 yards but that's how it goes I guess.

Romo is the only guy on the team that plays with balls. It is not his fault that his teammates are a bunch of gutless, spinless losers.

You don't know a thing about football. You must be Jessica Simpson still reeling from the breakup.

If we could say that about every player on this roster, we would be 2-0 right now.

Like I said before, Romo's chance to win SBs is being decimated by the lack of coaching and team that surrounds him. This makes me pity him because he's improved his game, although he should have had a few picks today. The rest of the team isn't helping him. He's hardly even close to being the centerpiece of the December collapses.

wow, you think blaming the one guy who plays with poise, puts up good numbers, and goes the extra mile to try and win a ball game is the smart thing to do.

just goes to prove that a team is not one player (hence my sig)
