What grade would you give it. He had several nice passes and some drops that made his numbers look bad. I noticed that some of his passes looked like wounded ducks and floated. I don't know what happened on the INT but some of his other passes I was not impressed with. C+

I think it was a lot better than average, which is what a C+ is. The int was purely the fault of the receiver (well, his slip) and other than that he made good decisions and throws.

My only question is "can we really blame that interception on Miles?" Im not to educated about the wide reciever position...someone fill me in one why it was his fault and not Romo's?

It was a timing route and the receiver didn't get to his spot. Technically it was the turf's fault for letting him slip, but he selects his cleats, etc.

He tripped/stumbled coming out of his break.

Romo just looked sort of off and inconsistant to me tonight. The pass that got the interference called on it was not a tight spiral at all

and if Garrett is using more of the timing based system from back in the day, the ball may have been out as he was making his break.

because we all know that NFL QBs have a tight spiral on every throw...lol

I'm not knocking the guy, he just didn't look sharp tonight.

I really don't care what his completion percentage is. What's his spiral percentage?

How does he look if Miles Austin catches a pass that was tossed 40 yards downfield, right beyond the outstretched fingers of a diving defender right into the WR's hands? How does he look if Miles Austin runs the route sharply and catches the ball for a first down instead of letting Dre Bly beat him to the spot for an INT? How does he look if Sam Hurd holds on to the football instead of fumbling, and they continue to drive down the field? How does he look if Jason Witten holds onto a ball that hit him right in the bread basket? How does he look if he has TO and Terry Glenn going up against Champ Bailey and Dre Bly for an entire half instead of Sam Hurd and Miles Austin?

Its a little hard to be too critical of him.

Spirals are a good indication of a QB. See Eli Manning and Quincy Carter for that.

You have really missed your calling. If i were you i'd get a job in QB evalution, at ANY level you can.

iF eye where you i would git a job at English teachur

I'm just saying he one hopped some passes and missed a couple of recievers. Is this offense going to take more shots downfield when Terry Glenn comes back?

Not his best performance.

But plenty good enough to be a contending starting QB.

Can't be worried about that position.

If you ask for more out of the QB position than that, then you are likely to be spoiled more times than not.

Peyton has a pretty lousy spiral percentage too.

Wow-Cowboys fans are starting to act like Eagles fans.

That underneath pass to Crayton? Beautiful

That 12 yard pass to TO? Pretty

That 13 yard pass to Hurd? Beautiful-but you forgot to mention Hurd fumbled it

That 40 yard lob to Hurd(or was it Austin)? Amazing-but you forgot to mention he dropped it

And you also forgot to mention Austin mis-ran his route that lead to an INT

No, that's not what you said. You sounded like a little BTCH. You teach the English lady, i'll break down the sports. :laugh2:

sounds like to me he would have been around 14/15-18 and nearly 200yds no INT maybe a TD if his wr held on to the ball that doesn't sound like he had a bad game to me. Now, the WR on the other hand sounded like they struggled some (which effected Romo's stats).

Romo was 11/18 for 122 yards. If he could maintain such "inconsistent" production over the course of a season, he would have 3,904 passing yards with a 61.1 completion percentage.

Who wouldn't take that?
