I don't think NFL GM's are as dumb as we think they are. They didn't need a speech from Romo to know what time it was.
I've not caught this 2nd/video yet, but I was pretty much gut punched hearing his Nov. Speech, now after processing trying to walk a mile in his cleats, Romo had already built a fire (old time terminology meaning to study, reflect, regain one's 'center' of purpose) and having had to come to the terms of dealing with it, the "Romo rollover" speech in Nov. Was a major part of his personal process of dealing with it, and therapeutic in nature.
He's good to go now ,the path was struck and made official back then,,, every body seems to be ranting about not even getting a single (3rd,4th,5th draft pick, choose one) but the browns are knee deep in draft picks and continue to remain cellar dwellers, ,,,you know Romo's entire existence and focus of being was sent to a pretty dark place when he realized it was the bench for him,you might think his wife and family supersedes football (now) but pretty sure dude was a single guy loving life and quarterbacking for the Cowboy's long before they were in the picture.
(Now I'm gonna go find this 2nd video,,,)
