The prudent move is to try and trade him before day 2. Leary would be inactive for every game as long as Collins, Frederick and Martin stay healthy. That is a roster spot that can go to a defensive player who can contribute on special teams and the line up.

Love Leary but trading him would be wise. The starting left guard spot is La'el Collins'. Have no idea what his value would be but if we could just get a 4th for him I'd take it. Or maybe they package him with our 2nd or next years first to get back into the 1st round?

Next years 1st? Better be mid 1st round then for us to trade up too.

Just because the Cowboys don't value depth on the team doesn't mean we shouldn't.

Adam Schefter on twitter said Leary signed his RFA second-round tender in hopes to facilitate a trade this weekend. Thoughts?

Makes some sense, but nobody had better get hurt.

That could get Dallas into the first round tonight again though. The Cowboys high #2 pick and Leary to get to 19 to take Paxton Lynch?

I would hate that.

The trade option is there but not now; wait for teams to lose players and get desperate for starter help before the season begins.

Just my opinion but the Cowboys have little bargain power today, tomorrow and the day after. Leary will look more desirable once training camps open.

I have heard we are absolutely drafting a back up center in this draft.
