I started a thread asking if anyone thought that Jerry had the guts to fire Parcells.....I believe you could possibly be having a problem with context.

Sorry, I hate the losses to the skins as much as anyone, but to say our team has regressed is crazy in my humble opinion. Just look at the overall depth of this team. Every unit other than OLine is set for a while, and I am sure after this off season, so will the line. Our depth now versus where we have been the last 7 or 8 years is light years ahead.

Just to throw in my two cents, I just read the initial post by CBz on the thread linked above, and no where is it advocating the firing of BP. Sorry, just trying to be voice of reason.

we need to have an A again next year, but it needs to be 90% offensive picks.

I disagree ... respectfully ... we need 1-2 O-linemen, but any young WR or QB would be on the bench learning unless we drafted a WR in the first round.

I do think we could use a blocking/receiving TE to go with Witten (most receiving only), but that's about it for offense.

On defense, we desperately need a FS and an impact Inside linebacker next year to go with James...I also think Burnett needs to play the outside spot opposite Ware. Fajita and Shanlee are not up to starting in the NFL, imo.

And unless Johnson can play NT (he played DE Sunday), we need another NT.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire, but the thread title was a good bit different from the context of Cbz's post. I could see how if reading only the THREAD TITLE one could come to the conclusion that it was a fire BP thread, but after reading the post, there is no way one could come to same conclusion rationaly.
