Not trying to add fuel to the fire, but the thread title was a good bit different from the context of Cbz's post. I could see how if reading only the THREAD TITLE one could come to the conclusion that it was a fire BP thread, but after reading the post, there is no way one could come to same conclusion rationaly.

Rational people have not had a hard time with Pop's post.

So if I post a "Would Jerry fire Zimmer?" thread immediately after a loss, and then over 9 hours later come back the following day and post "Jerry won't fire Zimmer, book it" that makes me some sort of wise old prophet? Well why didn't you just say that to begin with?

CBZ is nothing but class and I have never seen him trying to start a thread for a flame war.

He was asking a legit question...would JJ have the umph to fire Bill. If you would have read the thread instead of jumping the gun I think you would realize that.

If you or others take it in another manner that is your and their problem.

Sounds like you are just so darned wound up and wanting to lash out at everybody.

Brainpaint, hell all 3 of you have been ganging up on me since the beginning of this thread. If you don't think I have a right to be a little pissed off, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Maybe I judged CBZ40's post too quickly, but I never questioned the man's class or integrity. I chalked it up to him being angry and emotional after a hard loss, much like any fan would be.

Seeing other comments from him like these:

I think this may be the area that is suspect.

These comments in addition to the thread he posted lead me to believe he wanted to get rid of Purcells. If I was wrong, then fine, I apologize.

Questioning does not = firing

You were wrong and I thank you for your apology.

I learned several years ago that letting the results of a football game affect my emotions and my ability to control my anger was not a good thing. That TV I broke after the Ice Bowl was expensive.
