yet I am told here that winning the SB is all that matters so by that definition the Steelers were abject failures for 26 years.

Told that by whom?

If given the choice between losing an NFC Championship game or going 5-11 for 3 straight years, which do you think most people here would choose?

He hasn't won squat in 13 years.

I'm thinking Stephan gets credit for number 6.

I don't care if the guy that shot Keith Davis in the buttocks gets credit for it. Hell I don't care if the haters say that it was the talent Jimmy Johnson left behind that should get credit. I would not even care if Espn cited sources that message board anti-legend NORS gets credit for it.

Me neither. I'm just saying I don't think it is going to happen on Jerry's watch.

He had his come to Jesus moment with Parcells, but it looks like he thinks he can do it all again. I don't see much evidence that he is right.

I wholeheartedly agree. I really think it will be on Stephen's watch that we finally get #6 if it does happen. Jerry will be around trying to run the show for at least another 10 years probably. Fans should prepare themselves for it. Could be a much longer drought than it is now. Winning a playoff game will = ticker parade's in Dallas. It's almost that bad now and many fans are desensitized already because they do not truly realize just how pathetic it is to be longing for just a playoff win given our franchise history.

Jerry Jones is the best thing and the worst thing for all Cowboys fans. He's the best because he is willing to do ANYTHING to help The Boys win. He's the worst because he thinks he's the one who knows what needs to be done to help The Boys win. I just pray he doesn't turn into a Texas version of Al Davis in about decade.

He's already there.

I hate the steelers BUT

they have an owener who is a owner not GM scout coach ect....

They are going to the 2nd superbowl in 4 season most likly going to be the first to 6 superbowl wins.

While our owener wants to play GM and his team has not won a playoff game since the talent from the early 90's has run out....

sad

You sound like the ones in here that were saying its the Eagles time.

Personally I think the Cardinals have a GREAT shot at beating the Steelers. Maybe easier than beating the Eagles.

But lets just crown the Steelers now.

By tons of people on here.

Define "tons of people".

Who here would rather have had the Gaily-Campo-Parcells-Wade years than what Cowher and now Tomlin have done?

Hey, I think they're crazy, myself.

But you haven't read the "We're Dallas Cowboys fans, all we care about are winning Super Bowls, and everything else is a failure" rants? Seriously?

From the extreme fringe maybe, not from anyone you or I would take seriously.

The Cards just put up 32 on Philly who has one heck of a defense and I would say a scarier offense than Pitt has.

If Warner and Fitzgerald keep this up no defense is going to stop them.

dbair is right on this one..

The Rooney family has long ties to gambling and gamblers.

It's no coincidence that some of the most questionable SBs, when it comes to officiating, have involved the Steelers.

I detest that franchise.

Is anyone overly impressed with what the Steelers have done in their two playoff games? They beat an 8-8 football team without Tomlinson and beat a team that they are familiar with for the 3rd time. Meanwhile Arizona beat one of the hottest teams in the league in Atl, the team I thought would represent the NFC in the Super Bowl in Carolina and another hot team in Philly. I like Arizona in this game especially if Arizona jumps on the Steelers early and has them playing from behind. The Steelers offense will not be able to keep up.
