Root of the Rico argument

true, but garrett has constraints.
he cannot just go cut a well-known player like rico before cutdowns come.
in 2017 preseason, coaches, fo and players were singing rico's praises.
my suspicion is rico was pissed being left on ir - losing service time? and not getting development
so when someone tweeted 'fire garrett', he liked it like an idiot.
My standing rule concerning personnel problems is nip it in the bud.

true, but it is not a personnel problem but a personal problem
u can do that if u r the true boss
garrett is not the true boss so he needs to watch his steps

it is more like u tick me off, i **** ur career
then everyone sees what happen if anyone dare challenge him or undercut him

If Stephen wants rico on the 53 he'll be there. Won't matter what Garrett wants.

He is big, athletic ,strong and proves to be a mismatch at times. EVERYTHING ELSE screams he is not a football player. He looks like a lumbering OX out there. :laugh:He is the anti Witten. If he was excellent at blocking assignments he would have a shot.

that is true.
if u r the boss, u can do that.
but u have to measure how much delegation u want to do.
i get the feeling that stephen gives higher level instruction and try not to micromanage.
i think his comment that rico made progress on blocking etc was perhaps the most he wants to do.
garrett has to be able to say that he gave rico a chance and he just not good enough.
stephen or jerry could well say he wants rico on the team.

however all the players know what the score is.
by undercutting his development and reps, the players know what happens if u cross garrett.
even if rico stays on the 53, his development (and income potential) is undercut.

if he does nothing but be a red zone threat, he would be worth a 53 slot.
other than zeke, he may be the largest red zone threat.
dez is gone.

It's driving me nuts....guy flashes in certain situations against backups....

if he was given a chance against 1st team, then we would have more info.
but i believe he was barely given a rep in the 1st half.

in 2016, i recall he was hooking up really well with romo against our 1st team defense in scout team...

u only have to wait another week
meanwhile, enjoy :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Blocking Waldoputty. He's just playing devil's advocate to amuse himself. I don't have the patience for guys like that.
