Root of the Rico argument

Like I said, I wasnt saying either/or. I think both would get picked up

I do wonder where Shultz will be 2 1/2 years from now, when hes Gathers’ age now.
I suspect an NFL training room will make a lot stronger

right, he is not strong enough. he would obviously progress but he has physical limitations (arm length is ~4" shorter than rico) so his catch radius is about 1 feet less than rico when u throw in the height.

they are both young so what matters is years of control rather than age.

thanks. some think i was messing around, but this is really what i believe.
I can't believe anyone actually believes what he says. The mediocre crap he's thrown on the field for years. The mediocre jags he's kept on this team for years when we all knew they were at best jags. Can't coach worth a damn. Team has no discipline we are usually the better team and lose to stupid penalties or bad clock management. With my eyes in any game I've never seen rico miss a block. All I've seen him do is make plays. Something we haven't had at the TE position since Witten was 26 years old. Plus what players has Garrett actually developed at the TE or WR position? The answer is zero in case you were wondering.

Rico does have long arms.
You have to avle to run the right routes, in the right manner, and at the right time...and not get your QB on IR in protection, and also help in the run game.

Plus Rico will be 25 in January.

He IS intriguing though.

as stated above, both r young and it is controllable time that is critical.
rico is a young 25 if he is 25 as he barely saw much action last 2 years.

some say he is lacking in protection yet others say he did not miss a block yesterday.
i have no idea on his blocking though i did not see a missed block either.
if he is so bad, line him up wide and use him as a huge mismatch wr.

Rico's time is now :yourock::yourock::yourock::yourock:

if we had a competent coach, there would not be much argument if the head coach said a player is lacking

however, we have garrett, who many do not trust.
if we had a coach like belicheat, i suspect most will take the coach at his word about the worth of players.

unfortunately the best argument is garrett's self-preservation.
what if another team picks rico up and he balls out.

I DO feel that RIco under a competent NFL coaching staff would improve by leaps !
