Excellent...You stay mediocre in the NFL. You can't get better or worse.... Always drafting from the middle or a little above.

Sounds like gloom and doom but this year looks like we are heading in that direction and may be part of the plan… a top 5 pick and than another high pic in rounds 2 and 3 is a step in the right direction.. couple that with signing quality free agents next year and we could be relevant again and yes… with Dak at QB

Real fans want the best for this team. The best thing this team can do to help itself is to get a top 3-8 pick because this front office is inept and can't sign any FAs making our draft so much more important. Maybe hell will freeze over and Jerry will draft an actual QB in the top 10.

I still can't fathom how so many on here are rooting for this kid to be drafted by us. Really?? We are back to wanting a RB in the 1st rd? After so many of those same people told us how bad that Zeke pick was. That would be a god awful pick for the weaknesses we have. Our OL stinks. No defensive talent up the middle. You can find plenty of RB talent in the middle rounds. Using another premium pick on a RB would send us down the same path as the Zeke pick did.

Also, many will get sticker shock when he isn't doing what he did against NFL speed and defenses vs playing against junk teams playing with Boise St. At least Zeke did it on the highest level and won a ring with Ohio St.

You can find beast RBs all through the draft.

Dallas needs premium positions not a freaking runningback.

For the life of me I can’t sit down on Sundays Thurs Mondays watch a Cowboy game and “ root for a loss “ . Tanking is a losers game there is no guarantee a high draft pick is a home run honeymoon . I’m a Cowboys fan to see them “ beat the opposition “ not root for a possible future draft pick .

My biggest disappointment about our team is they just let the Lions clown them. I'd of taken a shot on Goff when they still had him in their throwing with a 40 point lead late in the 4th. Or especially when they started running those clown plays to the Olinemen. But our players just took it in stride. Headed back to the sidelines and planeed their week vacation..Pathetic!!!

I am not rooting for 3-13, but I think 5-12 is a possibility.

but 3-13 wouldn't change Jerry. He'd be hyped about a top 10 pick (maybe top 5) and he'd act like THAT will be the answer to everything.

It would be the typical Jerry over reaction after neglecting the position for a couple of years til it's a major glaring weakness. I fully expect we'll take a WR or Jeanty in the first.

I support anyone that roots for a loss to better with draft picks or roots for a win every time because otherwise they feel it's a loser mentality.

All we have is each other as fans, this team and the ownership have abandoned us and I'll be dammed if I'm going to judge someone anymore on what they want to see to make them happy with this team.

How do the Chiefs 49ers Ravens teams consistently winning drafting near the bottom keep winning . It’s culture . So you go 3-13 well you may end up like the Jets currently the longest streak in the NFL without a playoff berth .

This. Need 2000-02 era again. That’s what led to this team being in the conversation for much of the last 20 years. Even when they went 8-8 they had talent across the team. This team only does about 5 places.
