1. I know we as fans have no effect on the outcome of the game.
2. I know the ideal scenario is that the cowboys just take care of business and win the east.

Personally, I firmly believe that if Romo remains healthy we will see the Cowboys sweep the Eagles and go on a good run late in the season. Our front lines are as healthy as they've been all season, and it appears that this team has the talent and attitude this season that will keep them competing. At the same time this is the NFL so who knows how everything shakes out.

The NFC North will have two teams (both 7-3) in the playoffs I believe. The Cardinals(9-1) are going to win the West. The Niners(6-4) are one game back of us and hold the tiebreaker, as is Seattle(6-4) who we have the tiebreaker over.

If the Cowboys don't win the east, the Niners appear to be our biggest threat in the race for the wildcard.

Is it too early to be concerned with this? Are you pulling for Washington this week?

Not rooting for Commanders, just rooting for SF to lose. lol

Good question, as I was just thinking this earlier, when looking at the schedules.
As much as I would hate to root for Washington, this may be a time to do so. To keep SF down. And part is just to keep them out of the playoffs as well as keep them below us.

This will still be a tough call, as I won't decide until game time. And may change my mind during the game at times too.

I'm just focused on the Cowboys winning the division. If they win both games against the Eagles they are highly likely to win it.

I just can't bring myself to... root for the Commanders... hurts to type it even... Frankly, I'm enjoying the implosion of
the Commanders almost as much as the success of the Cowboys....... but I see your point... right now, it's a little early...
check back after Turkey Day.

Funny thing. My answer has always been an unequivocable HELL NO! But they suck so bad and the whole RGIII thing is so frickin' funny that I'm really having a hard time hating them. I am so confused...

I don't know if it's cause I'm in the younger generation of Cowboys and haven't really seen the Commanders that good or maybe it's cause I live near the Philly area and I hate the Eagles so much, but I just don't hate the Commanders as much as many do on this board. So it won't kill me to root for them this Sunday lol plus I hate San Fran and it's always nice to see them lose

I believe that you hope for the best, but prepare for the worst....................yes it would be great to sweep Philly, but we have not done that since 2009, so be prepared for the Eagles to win at least one game.

Worst case is Philly sweeps us and that pretty much eliminates us from the division title and throws us in the wildcard pool where San Francisco is basically only 1/2 game behind us since they have the tiebreak.

It would be to our advantage if San Fran had a couple more losses....................so yes, I am rooting for the Skins this Sunday because in a worst case scenario, the Skins winning is way more important to us overall.

I want the skins to win a few games so they remain undecided about moving on from RGIII. It would be nice to see them go into next season with the same 3 QBs they have now
