Rosenhaus: Barber's toe completely healed

Just caught this off PFT (apparently taken from Rosenhaus' twitter account). I hadn't heard much about his toe this offseason, so I thought some might be interested.

“[Cowboys running back] Marion Barber’s toe is now completely healed and he is primed to have an outstanding season. He’s ready to resume full activity healthwise.”

I understand your resistance... I don't have a ******* or facebook account and usually just laugh/look down at those who use them, but it is a very simple way for businesses and celebrities to keep people updated in their latest doings (charity work/new products/client movements). I don't like how media has been all up in the verbage though. Its very annoying tweet this tweet that.

Youtube was the same way when initially started.

I'm like that with social networks in general. I don't look down on those who use them, but it's just not my thing.

I try to follow some twitter pages, but it's hard. I don't get it. I guess you need an acct to know what the other side is saying..

I believe you cant reply to what they are saying. Its not like a forum where you post comments and comments are then threaded. When you click on reply, you will just write a comment on your own page linking to the other account. If you have no visitors to your site no one will care what you say. As it should be.

Nah, I am proudly a non one of those. But many sites are adopting social networking features. Even the newer versions of vbulliten are starting to adopt the annoying features of some of the aforementioned social networking sites.

You don't really "look down" on people for using twitter or facebook do you? You were just saying that to make a point, right?

It's cool to not want to use something or even like something, but i can't really imagine judging someone for something so harmless.

Never been to twitter, probably won't, but I do use Facebook cause it allows me to keep in contact with a lot of people I otherwise wouldn't really be able to.

As for Barber I hope he healed and has an outstanding season this year. We'll need a great year from him.

Twitter is fine as of right now. facebook is heading in that direction.

I am old fashioned. Don't feel people should mix all their private information with the internet. When I hear stories of employers visiting facebook/******* sites of a person and seeing pictures of themselves doing stupid things like drawing swastikas on their drunk friends forehead I don't feel sympathy for those people. Its their own fault.

A while ago ******* was hacked. Thousands of peoples private pictures were all available to download via a torrent. Twitter was hacked just a days back and something like 10 celebs phone numbers were obtained.

The internet is not as private as some people think.




Don't even get me started on people who use Macs.
