Twitter is fine as of right now. facebook is heading in that direction.

I am old fashioned. Don't feel people should mix all their private information with the internet. When I hear stories of employers visiting facebook/******* sites of a person and seeing pictures of themselves doing stupid things like drawing swastikas on their drunk friends forehead I don't feel sympathy for those people. Its their own fault.

A while ago ******* was hacked. Thousands of peoples private pictures were all available to download via a torrent. Twitter was hacked just a days back and something like 10 celebs phone numbers were obtained.

The internet is not as private as some people think.

Now that's a different story. But millions of people (including my wife) use FB, for instance, as a very easy and non-time consuming way to stay in touch with old friends and family. They post non-private photos of a family addition or maybe an old photo from 8th grade football. All innocent stuff. And there is never a need to post any private information about yourself on a site. Those that do, do so at their own peril. Furthermore, those sites now allow you to block anyone or everyone from seeing any of your photos or personal info unless you give them special permission to do so.

I see what you saying. Some folks (5% maybe) go overboard with the sites and use no disgression. That's not too smart on their part.

People who use *******, Facebook, and Twitter are less productive than those that do not. Of course, people who hang out on CZ during the work day are just has unproductive. :D

Don't even get me started on people who use Macs.

Smile when you say that. Steve Jobs is everywhere.

Well you make a good point and I apologize If I offended. If people do post innocent things there's nothing to worry about and that 5% do spoil it for the rest. But I am still a firm believer of keeping the 2 worlds separate.

Also should be pointed out just because something is password protected doesn't make it inaccessible. Someone famous got their email account hacked because a kid guessed her high school name as the security answer. Doesn't seem like your getting Fort Knox protection there.

Anyway thanks for the discussion, much enjoyable. I have to finish up work lol.

CURSE STEALTH EDIT!!!

DING DING DING

lol, exactly.
You can use FB once a month and stay in contact w/ 50 people if you like. I doubt any of us use CZ once a month for 10 minutes.

Question if Barber was a free agent after last season... Knowing what we have in Felix and Tashard.. Would Jerry:
1. Let Him walk..
2. Resign him for about 25 mil. Instead of 45mil.
3. Give him the 45 mil.

Remember he was a restricted free agent.. I think?

I vote #2 and if not possible then a trade. But I'm still very glad we have him.

If we hadn't given him the long term deal before last season there is no way, knowing what else they have, that he'd get 45 million here. Which means he'd likely go somewhere else because while he was restricted last year he wouldn't have been this offseason.

I understand your resistance... I don't have a ******* or facebook account and usually just laugh/look down at those who use them, but it is a very simple way for businesses and celebrities to keep people updated in their latest doings (charity work/new products/client movements). I don't like how media has been all up in the verbage though. Its very annoying tweet this tweet that.

Youtube was the same way when initially started.

The beauty about all the social networking things is you don't HAVE to visit the site to be updated with feeds. I get them in Outlook (via Xobni) and also as RSS feeds, and in Digsby (my IM client). So there are a host of ways of getting feeds sent to you, you can even have ones setup in Twitter text your phone with updates.

Just saying............

That's cool. I tend to dislike idiots. You know, people that stereotype.
