I don’t disagree it’s a GMs job to build a contender. Cowboys failed though. So did everyone but two GMs and that’s Philly and KC.We've already gone over this. A GM's job is to build a super bowl contender. Jerry has failed miserably at that, and has admitted so himself.
I don't think I mentioned Taco.
If you read Mo's scouting report and looked past all the hoopla about him, he was a major reach. I don't know what happened to make a CB who wasn't particularly fast or agile a top prospect, but that's not how it works.
It's not about counting busts.
I’m reading Mo’s scouting reports now everyone has him as the best corner in the draft and a top 10 pick. I don’t gauge a GM on moves like that. He was the right pick and the best at that position. I don’t see anything about him being “slow”. 4.43 isn’t slow.
