rotoworld: All signs point to Owens leaving cowboys *Merge*

Not sure that Jerry maintains a high degree of editorial control on the substance of what's there. With a nes stadium being built and everything else- do you really think he signs off on every website article.

Now I have to do one of yours....:lmao:

"Socks to Jocks" Jerry not signing off on ALL content of the website????

You're really too much. Ah man, thanks. I needed that laugh.

I thought Jerry likes attention. There could be many reasons for it, including the fact it has become so prevalent in the media circus, that speaking about TO keeps people coming to the site. They have an article on the site about Romo's play not meriting the abuse he is taking.

So now you're saying Jerry signs off on blatantly false stories for the website?

The Romo article sounds like an opinion piece, TO article are machinations in the organization.

Apples to oranges in your comparison.

Yeah, every article is placed on his desk and he initials each one for publication...

Of course not, people get together somewhere in Valley Ranch in little groups and say "the media says this...lets throw it on the website, Jerry won't know. He doesn't pay attention or sign off on the content of the team website..."

Keep going, you're getting more ridiculous by the minute...

But there's nothing to it. Why would he care that someone compiled a list of rumors and wrote them up in a new article? He knows that there are tons like you that will go to the website and read that garbage if it fits your agenda.

It's called sucking you in and you've been sucked.

Let's settle this a little. Based on all you've seen- Is TO staying or going?

Did Jerry sign off on this portion as well?"I do not buy this locker room severity," Jones said during an interview with the same ESPN affiliate. "That goes with the territory when you don't win. You start hearing it when you start not winning."

Wait a second, so the very thing that reviles you most about the media - rumor-mongering and the spreading of untruths - is ok for Jerry on his website? Really? I thought it was all about "truth?" Ok, I've had my fun watching you twist and flip on that one. Soooo....

He's gone. History. Too much out there in the media to come back from and appease TO, too much in-house opposition, too many other offensive options.
I think this time Jerry let's go of a personal fave.

You lost me. I have no idea what this has to do with the article on the website about discussions concerning whether TO goes/stays.

Ummm I think the decision was made when Jerry said he was staying, don't you?

Brian stewart and Bruce Read agree with you.

I'm sure you would a twice-daily comment from Jerry saying TO is staying to dampen your hope. Even when he is paid his 3 million bonus, you will be saying "What's he supposed to do? He owes him that and he'll pay it while he decides to keep him or not."

You'll hold out until game 1 and that's fine.

Even if Jerry said TO was staying twice a day, you'd still deny it...

I have never denied anything.

I am hoping owens is released or somehow traded.

I think it is step 1 in this team getting back to just being a football team and focusing on the important things.

However I know jerry jones cant help himself and I am fully prepared for the worst.

are we clear. Now I am going to go talk about other things and ignore this buffoon for the rest of the offseason.

& racking up 1000 + yards while opening up the field for the others as DCs continue to game plan against him with double teams. (also important to add) ;)
