rotoworld: All signs point to Owens leaving cowboys *Merge*

I'd take a 3rd rounder so fast Al Davis' flabby skin would flop in the breeze created.

Lombardi can't be serious about a third rounder.

That would be sweet.
Exorcise this demon straight to Oakland.

I don't believe this cause it would be too good to be true. I don't even know how Jerry would be able to talk Al into doing that. Also is rotoworld or rototimes the site that's always wrong?

This is Al Davis were talking about.

50 Bazillion for Javon Walker. I would be shocked to see Al Pony up their entire draft for a guy who can really play.

but that's the thing. he's made mistakes recently with Moss and Walker. do you know which one rototimes or rotoworld is legit?

Jerry really doesn't play that way with big name guys.

If we were to get rid of TO, Jerry would just end up releasing him. Jerry isn't going to trade him somewhere that he doesn't want to go.

After all the talk of him possibly leaving you almost have to get rid of him now.

Not sure it's such a great move some seem to think it will be.

I don't know about that. If faced with being exiled to Oakland or minding his Ps and Qs, I bet TO would take the 2nd option.

At the end of the day, TO really wants to win. Him going to Oakland would be an absolute deathblow to his ego and any shot that he has at winning a championship.

If it came to it, I'd bet the farm TO would refuse to play in Oakland. That would be the end of the trade.

I think that's probably true. Also, I think even Davis is sentient enough to realize the Cowboys will either keep Owens or they won't. The decision won't likely be made based on whether they can get a draft pick in return. If they've decided he has to go, they will simply release him.

I have no idea whether Lombardi's track record is any good. I do know there is absolutely not love lost between him and Davis.

At some point, all of the speculation will be proven true. Either this year or in three more years when his contract is up. But hey, at least they'll be proven right.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Either way, there's going to be a lot of *****ing and moaning. Some group (the pro-TO/anti TO) is going to be very disappointed.

I for one, can't wait.

Im not sure that either of them is.

Despite his never ending accusations and whining about his QBs, TO doesn't know how good he's had it in his career. And after watching TO publicly throw Romo, McNabb and Garcia under the table there's nothing I'd love to see more than watching him forced to play with Jamarcus Russel and get a real taste of what it's like to play with an awful QB.

Although, Russell doesn't seem like a bad guy and hasn't ever done anything to deserve TO and Javon Walker on the same team..

:lmao:

If he was gonna be gone, he'd be gone by now.

But you guys keep telling yourselves what you want to hear...

we play Oakland next season so their's another reason I don't believe it. though we do play them at home where the crowd could boo 81 all game.:D

Isn't that the truth. TO has been very lucky to play with Steve Young, Garcia, McNabb, and Romo.

Of course his supporters will tell us that TO made those QBs.

So we've got a litany of reporters wanting him gone and Jerry, Romo, Witten and others wanting him to stay.

Wonder who will win this one? :lmao:

TO blocked the trade to the Ravens, but he will accept going to Oakland?

That isn't true. TO was in a crazy situation b/c his agent forgot to file the correct paperwork and he already had a deal in place with Philly. He didn't "block" the trade, he challenged whether SF had the right to make the trade.
