Roy was all over in SD and for the first 54 minutes in the Skins game...since those two TD's I have not heard much from him at all. He does not seem to be in the box much anymore.

Scheme changed because we are scared of getting beat again? We take maybe our biggest defense weapon away from his strength.

I don't understand it??? Someone help me understand why...Please!

Haven't heard much? Didn't he lead the team in tackles yesterday?

Not ripping Roy! Why aren't we using him in the box a lot MORE to cause pressure?

I don't know, I'm not a defensive coach for the Cowboys. If I had to take a stab, I would think that we couldn't afford to play him in the box much, because we couldn't leave our CB's one on one with Moss or Porter.

Of course, Roy needs to be deployed for his exemplary cover skills...

It is impossible to understand the deep, deep minds of Bill Parcells and Mike Zimmer. They are so creative in their coaching schemes that it's just crazy trying to understand why they do certain things.

Just wait till next week...their genius will truly be revealed against the horrible offense of the Eagles.

ummmmmmm....let me take a wild stab at this one. We are getting TORCHED by the BOMB? We also faced Moss who had eaten us alive.

Sometimes you just need to point out the obvious. The sad thing is that we may not have a decent DB to put back there and move Roy up into the box.

We seem to be getting torched by the bomb no matter what, so that being the case, why not put Williams where he can be at his most disruptive, in the box? We need to get a top-flight Free Safety next year.

Explain the Niners game.......since it's so obvious of course.

Roy can't be everywhere. Trying to stop the 49er's runner and cover the pass. The D was just bad all the way around in the first half. The D stepped up in the second half. No one got torched and no long drives by the 9ers. We outscored them 21 to 7 if I am not mistaken.

But nonetheless, we came very close to losing the game, due, in no small part, to being "torched on the bomb" (your words, not mine.)

Rattay and Collins were to comfy in the pocket...Roy is a weapon, I would like to see him play more to his strength of causing havoc on the LOS. Of course he can't play there all the time, but since Wash...he has not been there much at all.

Look, we chose to take away the deep ball, and let the Raiders dink and dunk and run the ball.

The strategy darn near paid off. Really, it should have paid off.

You don't put a safety in the box against a Randy Moss team. That would be suicide.

BTW, it was Roy who bit on a play fake and got burned by Moss on the first drive...that's what Kerry Collins said in his PC.

LOL....and you want to keep him in pass coverage?

What is suicide is not mixing up some blitzes and allowing Collins to get set and throw. If you don't use your best talents to put pressure on the QB or stuff the run on the LOS you are putting ALL the pressure on the DB's...is this what we want? I think not.

Which is why you don't put Roy in coverage.
