Kilyin said:Williams didn't have the most tackles, he was second according to the gamebook. Bradie James lead the team in tackles. Pretty shocking.

I doubt any of you thought we would hold the Raiders under 20 points, did you?

According to nfl.com its listed as
R Williams 7 tackles 1 assist
B James 6 tackles 2 assist

B James 6 tackles 2 assist combined 8
R Williams 6 tackles 1 assist combined 7
I find the gamebook is usually alot more statistically accurate than the gamecenter recap.
Next_years_Champs said:That's nice NFL website has different stats on the same game breakdown....
Kilyin said:Don't shoot the messenger.
Kilyin said:Just use the gamebook, and not that gamecenter thingie.
Next_years_Champs said:And you know positively they never make any mistakes? I actually accessed it from the Cowboy website, that is where they send you for game stats.
What I think I'll be doing from now on is to check both and then if they are different note both on the post.......
Portland Fanatic said:LOL....and you want to keep him in pass coverage?
What is suicide is not mixing up some blitzes and allowing Collins to get set and throw. If you don't use your best talents to put pressure on the QB or stuff the run on the LOS you are putting ALL the pressure on the DB's...is this what we want? I think not.
Kilyin said:AdamJT13 said the gamebook is usually accurate and the gamecenter stuff isn't.
Whoever runs the Cowboys site probably doesn't know much about football, sadly.
Now is where major defensive changes need to be made, will they?dbair1967 said:if this is how they intend to use him, he should have never been drafted here...you arnt letting the player play to his strengths and do what he can do the best at
he's been poorly used for most of his career...I love the guy to death because he brings it every week regardless of how he's used, but he's turned into a wasted elite draft pick because the coaching staff has severely misused him...
you think Greg Williams would use him the way we do? Jeff Fisher? Jim Johnson? Marivn Lewis? No way in hell...
VERY good point David...
I said this BEFORE he was drafted...I didn't think zimmy had a clue then and he still doesn't now.
Can zimmy use him as a impact player?
The question has been of course answered with him as well as Ware so far...NO!
Can that be changed?
yes, but will it if it hasn't been yet? Doubtful uless Parcells takes over NOW!
