How can you consider giving up 19 points to the Raiders a failure of strategy. IE keeping Roy back to take away the deep ball.

I find the gamebook is usually alot more statistically accurate than the gamecenter recap.

Oh believe me I'm not it just points to the fact that even on the NFL's own website the stats are suspect. The true is who knows now which number is accurate, I know I'll add a disclaimer from now on when I quote their site.

if this is how they intend to use him, he should have never been drafted here...you arnt letting the player play to his strengths and do what he can do the best at

he's been poorly used for most of his career...I love the guy to death because he brings it every week regardless of how he's used, but he's turned into a wasted elite draft pick because the coaching staff has severely misused him...

you think Greg Williams would use him the way we do? Jeff Fisher? Jim Johnson? Marivn Lewis? No way in hell...

And you know positively they never make any mistakes? I actually accessed it from the Cowboy website, that is where they send you for game stats.

What I think I'll be doing from now on is to check both and then if they are different note both on the post.......

for the last few weeks i've been hearing that roy williams is overated but thats bull.most of the non sense started after the cowboys vs. Commanders game because of the santana moss burn. for i think the best and fastest strong saftey in the nfl is ed reed and he cant run a foot race with santana moss either, but yet people call roy overratted. roy got burnt once the so called second burn is not true. a tight end came across the middle and if the saftey's zone is in the middle witch it was he haves to give the tight end attention. some so called cowboys fans said "its 4th down why woory about the tight end thats coming across the middle" well i'm going to put it like this if the tight end had caught that pass then people would say roy cant cover. so basically it was a lose-lose situation for roy no matter witch one caught the ball.

What is suicide is not mixing up some blitzes and allowing Collins to get set and throw. If you don't use your best talents to put pressure on the QB or stuff the run on the LOS you are putting ALL the pressure on the DB's...is this what we want? I think not.

Its just so OBVIOUS that zimmy has no clue how to be innovative, so teams will beat us and our plain jane passive & predictable D...
If changes aren't made on D to attack we can chaulk up another loss...

Its tough to watch very good DC's from other teams and them get the most out of their players...

Yeah your probably right about the Cowboys site they organize it for the casual fan but the hardcore football junkies are the only people that ever use it.

However I will say its much more professional looking than it was before the redo.......

I said this BEFORE he was drafted...I didn't think zimmy had a clue then and he still doesn't now.
Can zimmy use him as a impact player?
The question has been of course answered with him as well as Ware so far...NO!

Can that be changed?
yes, but will it if it hasn't been yet? Doubtful uless Parcells takes over NOW!

games are won and lost in the trenches, if we cant get pressure on the qb we might as well let them score, roy williams is on our team to put pressure on the quarterback, not to drop back into coverage, our coaching staff needs to have more confidence in putting our corners in man coverage more often so we can let roy do what he does best...BLITZ, we have all this money invested in newman and especially henry, let them do their thing

This is the whole point of my thread...these other guys looking in the stat books to see who the most tackles are flat out missing it.

Coaches got scared of getting torched so they moved eveyone back...thus not moving Roy to where he can make an impact. He IS the best SS in the NFL when in the BOX...outside the box...average at best.
