IF it is indeed a broken collarbone, it's a 6-8 week injury. That's what PFT says, anyway.

Six to eighth weeks. There's still 2.5 weeks until the season starts and we have our bye in week 6.

That means IF it's a broken collarbone and the 6-8 week prognosis is accurate, we'll have Roy back after he misses the first 4-5 games.

It hurts... but it's hardly a "season ender" like some are suggesting.

@ Tampa Bay, vs. Giants, vs. Carolina, @ Denver... we could still easily start out 3-1 or better WITHOUT Roy in the lineup.

We aren't going to trade for anyone cause when Roy comes back we go right back to the whole crap of having two #1 receivers and since we're missing our #1, whatever team we talk to would gouge us.

Roy Williams sure looked good punishing Cortland Finnegan the other night with those power plays or ball control plays, shorter throws.

Now, Dallas doesn't have that on the outside. Things are going to be tighter inside, and the CBs in the NFC East will shut the Cowboys' WRs down.

Things just got much, much tougher.

No team will fear the Cowboys on the outside if he's out. Williams was a serious threat on the outside.
