Can turn his hips for @#$*.... Sure a sold hit is a highlight once every five games but OU roy didnt weigh 240. Still my favorite player but man, I am tired of the same old story with him. Love the shots but would trade them all for just being quicker in the hips..

Enough excuses it's the defense they run everyday in practice so Roy needs to drop the weight and get better at coverage...

What are Roy's strengths and weaknesses? Surely we've figured out by now--why continue to put him in deep coverage? It's counter-productive and really, idiotic. Why not play him close to the line of scrimmage?

Zimmer really needs to be creative and aggressive and importantly, allow his players to do what they do best. It's always been his story--fitting players into his scheme and thereby neutralizing their talent

neither did he...he was in a zone and had Henderson handed to him deep...he was already back there, all he has to do is position and play the ball...that's why he's in the deep zone...he takes bad angles and tonight also missed tackles...a bad night for Roy...a bad night for everyone.

QUit Making excuses for Roy... Not many can but he cant let him get behind him. 2 slow recognizing the route or TOO SLOW breaking on ball.. Either you can credit his lack of route recognition in a cover 2 OR him being overweight. I wouldnt want 240 lbs running with a 15 yard head start at me , thats why he is feared. Not because he has 5 picks that were thrown to him.

are you suggesting we should have told payton not to call that play, what was so special about his route, did he decieve him in any way! he is what he is a bad coverage safety,I have come to accept it,you should too instead of reaching for reasons to sugarcoat it

Not only that, Payton was having a field day running screens... the last drive, if I remember correctly, Bush just ran like a 45 yard screen for a TD...

Roy WIlliams was probably trying to decide which side of the field to cover the damn screen play that Dallas couldn't stop for anything...
