IRVING, Texas -- Roy Williams looks forward to the challenge of facing a Super Bowl championship team Saturday night.

Except the undefeated New Orleans Saints haven't ever been to a Super Bowl, much less won one.

"Might as well crown them, right?" Williams said with more than a hint of saracasm. "They’re undefeated. It’s December. We don’t have a chance."

With a straight face, Williams said he is also looking forward to a rematch in the Superdome.

"This is a two-round fight and this is just the first round, in my eyes," Williams said. "I don't know about everybody else, but I think we're going to see this team in the playoffs down the road."

The odds of that happen increase dramatically if the Cowboys can win Round 1. If they don't, their playoff hopes will be on the ropes.

The Cowboys are the underdog, but Williams has Ali-like swagger.

"If we pack our bags and show up in New Orleans on Saturday night," he said, "we should be victorious."

I have lived with that since I can remember. You score no one questions the call you fail and every jr OC comes out of the wood work to give their 2 cents. It is the way it is.

to heck with the locker room BS, it means nothing. You guys get more caught up in that non sense than the players do. RW has been playing well as of late and I expect him and others to stand up the fans sure as hell are not going to do it I expect the team to do that.

I don't mind confidence. I don't mind them saying they're going there to win.

Just go there and do it. Prove it. Don't just say it, do it.

I'm sure that's all anyone would want from them.

Of course the problem here is that he's answered a question and it's going to upset some that he didn't answer it with 'next question' or some other form of deflection so it's going to get him in some trouble with some people.

That's how it goes with football though.

Who cares, you guys are not supporting the team so it is them it is their butts on the line not yours. I would rather team stand up and lay down like some seems to expect them to do. They have nothing to lose by showing some backbone right now

RW playing well? I couldn't tell.

If you don't think that stuff matters then you're beyond kidding yourself. This team will put points on our forehead. It's going to be bad and ugly. RW will be a non-factor.
