so you're looking at the last (2) weeks to prove *every time* - and you wonder why people get tired of the NWC - no-win crowd.

Try the past 3 years. Especially Crayton.

does anybody on this site understand what an exaggeration is? the last 2 times they talked a big game they didn't back it up. that's my point

would it be better if Bradie James "talked" about beating them?

all in all, given that we've been given a 0% chance to beat NO, I don't see anything wrong with what Roy said.

About time someone held their head up and said SOMETHING GOOD instead of the usual wussy cautious step-on-no-toes-media jargon they usually spout.

i'm liking roy more and more as the season progresses

how can anyone on this site NOT KNOW what one is? far too many people talk that way, then since they talk that way so much they start to believe it.

then trying to talk to "that mindset" is even more impossible.

there's no rational in "every time" "last 2 times" - it's already a contradiction designed to vent and let off steam, NOT be logical and talk intelligently.

no we sure didn't back it up the last 2 games. 1 we should have won, the other we just got beat by a better team.

but even when *that* happens the bullet hunters come in screaming for wade-blood and just...screaming.

yea, i'm sure everyone in here knows what an exagguration is - and i'm sure almost as many are tired of talking to people who only seem to talk in those terms. no i don't think you always do that but you do tend to get to the emotional part quickly, but at least when someone mentions it, you know what they're talking about and don't try to pretend it's not that way.

to heck with the locker room BS, it means nothing. You guys get more caught up in that non sense than the players do. RW has been playing well as of late and I expect him and others to stand up the fans sure as hell are not going to do it I expect the team to do that.
Agreed.

those who just take shot after shot regardless (cough you cough) i've come to just realize that your role here in life is small and annoying. just like a gnat.

RW playing well? I couldn't tell.

If you don't think that stuff matters then you're beyond kidding yourself. This team will put points on our forehead. It's going to be bad and ugly. RW will be a non-factor.

I'm sure you couldn't since I doubt you even watch the games.

As for kidding myself? only person here kidding themselfs is you, oh they should just shut up because the saints may get upset? Hell everyone is given up on Dallas you included the Cowboys have nothing to lose by standing up to anyone and everyone right now. If they lose it will not matter what they said

"Might as well crown them, right?" Williams said with more than a hint of saracasm. "They’re undefeated. It’s December. We don’t have a chance."

"This is a two-round fight and this is just the first round, in my eyes," Williams said. "I don't know about everybody else, but I think we're going to see this team in the playoffs down the road."

"If we pack our bags and show up in New Orleans on Saturday night," he said, "we should be victorious."

He should have said...

"Well, you know its December........ so we know we have no chance of beating anyone much less an undefeated team like the Saints. We had a team meeting and voted on whether or not we should even play the game this saturday. It was a close call but those who wanted to play prevailed. I'm not going to say how i voted but don't be surprised if leave the game early in the 1st quarter due to undisclosed injury."

I like it. No one else thinks the Cowboys have a chance. Seems Roy does. That's one person. How about the rest of the team? He didn't do the "I GUARANTEE WE WILL WIN" comment. He went the sarcastic route and sort of had a sense of humor about it. What does it matter anyway? You guys have written off the Cowboys. If the 'Boys lose it won't be because of some comments that's for sure. I like the swagger. Now will they back it up is the next question. Don't lose hope Dallas.

Doesn't bother me. 3 games left in the season. Nothing should be safe anylonger, Everything should be thrown at the next three teams. This team has nothing to lose.

Wish more players were talking like this, instead of running from the media, to sulk and play the piano.

That's as of NOW mind you,to me , this season is gonna either end bad or good. Not in the beginning of the season. I would prefer no players actually talk at all, but, if they are going to. go out with a bang.

Everyone on this team needs a chip on their shoulder.

I have no problem with him!

Burhman and Jackson were laughing at the Cowboys last night. I hope everyone on the team was watching MNF last night to see that because that should get them fired up!

You mean like Steve Dennis calling them losers did?

Can we all atleast agree that the Roy hate has become ridiculous on this site to the point where he can't do anything right? He catches a football and he should've caught it with his hands. He catches a football with 3 guys on him and he should've scored the touchdown.

So wait. You think the Cowboys lost to the Chargers based on a lack of effort? You don't think maybe.....just maybe the better team won?

Yea but let's be honest. The Chargers played conservative on that last drive and settled for 3. They didn't even try to go for the TD. And you don't give any credit to the Chargers for that goal line stand? Chargers are a better team IMO.

RUN THE DAMN BALL MAN!
so we run it and it doesn't work
WHY DIDN'T YOU PASS MAN???

coaching by hindsight is fun for far too many people.

It's getting to be absolutely ridiculous.

I don't think we missed a field goal cause of lack of effort. Come on now. You really think he missed because he wasn't giving enough effort?

And the goal line deal was a combination of bad play calling and, yes, I agree in that series of plays our Offensive line and Barber didn't give enough effort to score there.

But I don't think that series of plays is a sign that the entire team isn't giving plenty of effort. There are quite a few guys on this team that I do believe are giving the effort but they're likely being held back by the sum of those few who just may not be giving full effort and just may not be nearly as talented as they, or others, believe they are.

I have lived with that since I can remember. You score no one questions the call you fail and every jr OC comes out of the wood work to give their 2 cents. It is the way it is.

Seriously guys? ...

I think sometime some people say things that are inflammatory just to get a rise out of others.. really.. I do it (not as often as I used to). At least I own up to it....

The word that I have heard often used in recent weeks is balance. Call the fans what you want but the average fan can see deficiencies at the OC position. Perhaps if we sprinkle in a little:

"Dallas' first good scoring chance ended with a field goal that put it ahead 3-0. On the next deep drive, Marion Barber got to the 1 on first down, then was stuffed on three straight runs. The Cowboys moved him from halfback to fullback on the fourth-down play, but it didn't fool anyone.
"He's not getting paid to block," said linebacker Tim Dobbins, who was in on all three tackles from the 1. "We knew it was going to be a flip or a dive. I don't even know what they were thinking. I don't know if they watch film or what."

First Ray Lewis calling out our plays at the line in Cowboys stadium to own us last season and now Tim Dobbins? Who the hell is Tim Dobbins???

About Roy's comments... At least someone on this team is giving the impression that he has some intestinal fortitude...
